  • Summary: The Swapper is a 2D platform puzzle game made by Facepalm Games, a small indie developer hailing from Helsinki, Finland. This is their first game. Today I’m reviewing the PS4 version. You play a nameless astronaut stranded aboard the Theseus. A huge space station in orbit above a mineral rich planet, Chori V.

  • Summary: I'm going to be honest people. I didn't see much footage of this game myself. I asked my friend today and he said his friend had really high comments on this game. I knew what the game was about. I just bought it today on Wii U and I can easily say, it's the best damn Indie Game this year, hands down! Just a phenomenal experience for me.

  • Summary: The Swapper is a very interesting side scrolling sci-fi puzzler in the vein of the original Metroid series but there are no enemies to kill you here. There is a truly artistic feel to it and it is quite unique in it's style. You control a device called "The Swapper" which produce a limited number of copies of yourself in which you use to solve puzzles which get progressively harder as the game goes on.

  • Summary: The Swapper is a very interesting title as an indie game generally, while it has one of the smartest concepts in the puzzle platformer genre. Its length and the lack of more than one gameplay ideas has left us wanting more, as they do not justify the title's price. On the other hand it's got excellent atmosphere, one of the best concepts about clones/soul and is so consistent throughout all of its aspects that makes the better AAA games.

  • Summary: Originally released on PC The Swapper is a puzzle platformer in which the player can create up to four clones of themselves in order to collect orbs, that can in turn be used to open up new areas. These orbs are contained within their own separate rooms, each of which requires the player to solve a puzzle.

  • Summary: Mood of this game swallow me whole and puzzles that I encounter burned my brain. In other words, I really enjoyed time that I spend at Theseus station.

  • Summary: The swapper is a traditional side scrolling sci-fi puzzler, the graphics are not mind blowing, but there not meant to be, but they are truly artistic and unique. You control a device called "the swapper" which produces copies of yourself in which you use to help solve puzzles and other tasks. the amount of mystery surrounding this game is overwhelming, the atmosphere is so compelling too. Truly unique game, loving it.

  • Summary: There have been some amazing games over the past few months with indie titles making the cream. This 'The Swapper' is one of those such titles. It overloads the atmosphere and at the same time is a calming experience. The puzzles are entertaining, graphics excellent, controls simple, music (the best feature) is simply stunning. Well worth buying and grab it on Steam now as it's 25% off!!!

  • Summary: Could this game have been any better? I doubt it. Well written, great gfx and sounds, good rythm, everything fits nicely together. The mechanics are fresh and even though some riddles make you think a while and try out a few things, they are all fair and can be logically solved. Great job, one of this years highlights!

  • Summary: I don't understand why this game has such a ridiculously high review. It's a mildly entertaining puzzle game, different than, but not as fun as Portal in my opinion. Not worth ten dollars. A mediocre score for a mediocre game.
