Summary: Hi I have a question for those who have this game... I used to have the Sims but can't find it anywhere and want to play it with the girl I babysit for. I have tons of expansion CDs and was wondering if I buy this if it will work on my new Dell with Vista. Anyone know? Or does it just work with old PCs? Thanks!
Summary: To me this game is like pointless math worksheets. It may be fun and interesting, but the families soon become messed up. The graphics are OK. I would buy the Sims 2 over the original, because the graphics are better and there are more options. My copy came free with my computer, and I'll admit that I occassionaly play it when I'm bored. Sims has poor quality graphics and isn't worth paying for. There is no point in the game, and it never ends.
Summary: this is a sick game so far in my sim collection i have sims superstar, sims livin large, sims vacation, and the sims i recently got the sims house party and it is the best so far!!!! i recommend it to all sims fans!!!
Summary: I have all of the sims expansion packets. I got this one recently. If you were wondering why their is no town, it's becuase towns were not invented intill Hot Date. The Throw a party funcition is o.k., but I can make a party without this function. If I were you, and I didn't have The Sims, Sims Deluxe, go and buy Double Deluxe!! It has house party in it. Over all I guess this game was o.k., but the others ones are tottaly better!!
Summary: You know what I love about The Sims? I enjoy builing houses and adding furniture as my income increases. I also enjoy enhancing my Sims skills and advancing them in their jobs. I do not enjoy just watching them interact so that I can "play house." Because of that, The Sims Hot Date along with The Sims Vacation were the last expansions I bought because they disappointed me how they moved away from some of the central concepts that made this game so fun.
