Summary: I used to play Sims 2 like it was my life, but when I bought Sims 3, Sims 2 just wasn't as desirable anymore. I bought this because it's a Sims game that's laptop compatible but it's just not the same. If you play Sims 3, you're probably not going to like this as much.
Don't care so much for the "Stories," but LOVE the free play mode

Summary: Although I got bored very quickly with the "Stories," I really enjoy creating my own characters and being able to play any household I want at any time in the Free Play mode. Whether I'm creating my own electronic "voodoo dolls" (hey, it's a harmless way to take out your frustrations on the electronic form of the people who piss you off in real life), or just creating my version of the perfect - or imperfect - family, it's a hoot!
Summary: I LOVED THE SIMS 2 AND THE SIMS 3 BUT UNFORTUNATLY I COULDNT HAVE BOLTH ON MY WINDOWS 7 LAPTOP SO I UNINSTALLED THE SIMS 2 AND INSTALLED THE SIMS 3 6TH MONTHS LATER I WANTED TO PLAY THE SIMS 2 SO I WENT TO INSTALL IT WELL FOR SOME REASON WHEN YOU HAVE THE SIMS 3 INSTALLED THE SIMS 2 WONT INSTALL.So i figured hey ill get this one it looks like sims 2 but i may install.I got it and it worked but it has a little less features like no expansion packs can be added there are a...
Summary: As a fan of the Sims 2, I hoped I would like the spin-off 'Life Stories' games. I was hoping it would be a more story orientated game along the lines of the Playstation 2 game, 'The Sims 2; Busting Out.' However, Life Stories both is and isn't. Firstly, the stories within Life Stories are flimsy at best. It took me a day to finish both of them.
Summary: It is nice to have the character's life to play with the goals. But once you play the two players there is no more left to do the people grow into elders way too fast and you don't get to accomplish everything you need. But it is a lot of fun. The game as a whole is ok. For the price that it was sold at. It was a good deal.
Summary: I'm glad I got this game free because it's just an okay game. I was looking forward to playing it because there are goals, but it feels like it's so planned out. All the game really does is tell you what to do. I gave two stars for fun because the other sims in the game have things to say and it adds something to it...But I feel so restricted in the Riley and Vincent stories.
Summary: When I saw that the Sims were coming out with a "new" style of game play, I was very excited. However, once I finished the game I was pretty disappointed. It's entertaining, but it's not for anyone who has been playing The Sims and Sims 2 since their creation, like I have. I thought it would be a "choose your own adventure" type of game, but there is a specific storyline chosen for you, and you can't progress unless you follow that story.
