Summary: Not as fun as earlier versions of the game. Instead of unlocking more items with gameplay you are supposed to pull out your credit card and purchase them. Same with new neighborhoods to play in. I was disappointed to see the game's owners be so shamelessly greedy. The Sims 2 was much better.
Summary: and origin sucks! why installing from origin when i bought the dvd???? it doesn't make any sense! the game is ok,but if the sims goes out to a restaurant for example u can't see the inside like the sims 2 or 1
Summary: -_______- I was expecting HIGH END stuff instead you get sci-fi looking stuff, horrible and weird looking hairdos and let's not talk about clothing. I maybe got 10 new items which it was disappointment cause I was very excited about this :( not worth the money!
Even though I have bought better expansion packs, this one is still fun.

Summary: I bought this product thinking it would be fun to have more items to use to build shops and to open a business. What I don't like is that it is very hard to have a successful business with this game and the items that come with the pack don't allow you to use on just any community lot. The items, for example, are shelves that you have to stock in order to sell stuff so therefore they do not work on any community lot.
Playing Sims 2 & 1 for gameplay, Sims 3 for "coloring" and rabbitholes

Summary: Honestly, was excited for this to come out. Now, having ALL expansions, to date, including Showtime - they are definitely moving this series in a direction away from what made it famous in the first place. The basics, "sandbox play" and "full" expansion packs are missing. Their ever-increasing store prices for premium content is ridiculous ($5/per object?!), where with the Sims 2 & 1, you would get all said objects with a pack for one price.
Summary: I just got this game for Christmas yesterday. I installed it immediately and started playing. In the regular Sim Town, the graphics and everything was fine, but in any of the three vacation areas, it was very laggy, considering I had three in the family. Later, I saved and quit, and came back later that day. I tried opening World Adventures from the shortcut on my desktop. There was an error message that came up; "Unable to start. Please reinstall the Sims3 base game.
Summary: I bought the game the day it came out, what a disappointment. Every male Sim head was floating a good distance off the neck, I couldn't get any chance for romance with their needs dropping constantly and when there was time, it was always rejected no matter who i talked to or what it did. Overall stick with the Sims 2, because a least you can actually do something with out your sims head floating.
