Summary: Because this game is a digital version of Sims 3, you MUST be connected to the internet to connect to their Origin service (similar to Steam) so they can verify your license. This is a technique some companies use to ensure that their games aren't being copied illegally. However, once you connect to Origin and run the game, you can freely disconnect from the internet and keep playing. Just don't quit the game!
Summary: Not as fun as earlier versions of the game. Instead of unlocking more items with gameplay you are supposed to pull out your credit card and purchase them. Same with new neighborhoods to play in. I was disappointed to see the game's owners be so shamelessly greedy. The Sims 2 was much better.
Summary: and origin sucks! why installing from origin when i bought the dvd???? it doesn't make any sense! the game is ok,but if the sims goes out to a restaurant for example u can't see the inside like the sims 2 or 1
