Summary: No wonder so many people have game this game and its expansions One star. There is a major bug apparently that causes "some" users to get stuck on an infinate loading loop when trying to load a neighborhood/world in the game. Nothing i did fixed it. uninstalled, reinstalled, redowndownloaded, cleared cache, even reinstalled WIndows, Nothing. turns out it may be a bug specifically for the origin version of the game.
Summary: The expansion itself is very good - I've played it elsewhere and wanted my own copy - however, the version I was sent (and it seems many others were too) was the India Edition, meant to be sold in India only and not at all compatible with European versions of the main game. Amazon have been helpful and offered a refund, but it's obviously a huge pain in the arse to have to return and find another copy. Avoid and buy from another seller.
Summary: My daughter was so disapointed when we couldn't install this expansion pack. After days of visiting several help desks we found the patch needed. Look on some help desks befor buying to make sure you will be able to install.
Summary: Bought this along with Sims 3; although my system requirements match and in fact exceed the requirements on the packaging, the game constantly crashes after only about 20 minutes of play and needs to be restarted, losing everything you have just done. Far too frustrating to play, really disappointing. Would not buy any of these again or recommend them.
Summary: I would like to say that this game is awesome, and amazing as most of the sims games are. But if i said that, i would be a total liar, and would not be warning people thinking of purchasing this game. Im pretty sure that this would be a fun game if i could actually play it. It allows you to install it, and it works fine until you ask your sims to travel. You select travel on the sim, and it comes up with the country you have selected, but then the sims do not appear.
Great potential, but introduces so many glitches it ruins rest of the game

Summary: My feelings about the World Adventures expansion are mixed. It does add a huge range of new possibilities for gameplay, enabling Sims to travel abroad and solve puzzles/tombs. That is really enjoyable. It also enables Sims to learn new skills - nectar making (like wine making), photography, and martial arts.
Summary: Disc will not download on a Mac because Amazon are STILL selling the wrong disc for UK play - i.e the region code does on this disc is not compatible with your SIMS3 disc so it rejects the installation. I have been unable to find a work around on the web for changing the region code manually and im not sure that is a good solution anyway!
Summary: I simply can't give this a high rating, since it arrives and was installed all custom content mods either from the EA store or user made mods refuse to install, in other words the only thing to make the game interesting in the long term, existing mods are no longer recognised and the launcher refuses to recognise the EA Downloader which your forced to run. Its been weeks and not a word from EA on their forums about the issues to the hundreds of people experiencing it.
