Summary: No wonder so many people have game this game and its expansions One star. There is a major bug apparently that causes "some" users to get stuck on an infinate loading loop when trying to load a neighborhood/world in the game. Nothing i did fixed it. uninstalled, reinstalled, redowndownloaded, cleared cache, even reinstalled WIndows, Nothing. turns out it may be a bug specifically for the origin version of the game.
Summary: I bought the sims 3 myself, and a couple expansions. When I bought this, I had to uninstall my sims 3 base, and re-install on origin. Now my game won't work for more than ten minutes. I am really pissed.
Summary: I didn't download the base Sims 3 through Origin (I downloaded through Amazon) and now Origin won't let me download this expansion pack without first uninstalling the base game and reinstalling through Origin. Total waste.
Summary: Had I known the game was actually coming from Origin instead of Amazon I NEVER would have bought it. Amazon couldn't help me and Origin makes it next to impossible to get answers. The person who answered the phone wasn't even familiar with the Sims game! So then I bought it directed from the Origin site and still no go. I had to buy the disk after spending $80 between Amazon and Origin.
Summary: The game downloaded fine, and starts up fine, but about 10 minutes into the game every time, the screen goes black and the game crashes. I uninstalled and re-installed it several times, even uninstalling my other game expansions leaving only the Sims 3 and Seasons - still crashes. Going to uninstall it for the final time. Don't waste your money.
Summary: I bought this through Amazon and the problem is you dont download and install through Amazon.Amazon sends you to Origin to download their lies the problem.I think their is a problem with their digital DRM SecuROM and it would not allow me to play Sims 3 unless I uninstalled Seasons.I troubleshooted this issue for 2 weeks with no resolve,I was on their forums called EA and everything the only thing that helped this problem was to buy the lame 70's 80's and 90's stuff...
