Great Expansion Pack

Summary: This expansion pack comes with a lot of stuff. You get 2 new traits and 1 new profession. You can also run your own resort. Set prices, hire people, expand your resort, and more. The new city to play in is okay. You really have to think about where to place your sims since it can take ages to get to one location. If you want to have a lot of kids you might have to establish your home on the main island (or at least near the main area).
Summary: My daughter is a Sims fan.I do find that there are glitches with all the EA products we have bought ( crash, freeze etc) but she does enjoy this booster pack to Sims 3.There is a help line for The Sims which she has used for this with varying results. But as for this pack, it has many fun additions to make your Sims have Island experiences! It's a great concept for the game and this is a cute expansion to it.Vacations for the Sims!Good imaginative fun.
Summary: I was really looking forward to playing this expansion pack because of the concept of an Island Paradise. I had read the reviews of others who talked about glitches but I didn't think that would happen to me because I have a gamers computer that I just bought a few months ago. When the game arrived, I installed it and then checked for any updates. It said my game was up to date. Unfortunately, I had the same glitch problems as many others.
Summary: Resorts, sharks, mermaids, boats what else could you want right? This pack adds all sorts of island, tropical, vacationy type things! Biggest things dive spots where you hunt for treasure maybe get eaten by a shark. Boats for transportation, house boats are a thing now too. The ability to build and own a resort. Become a mermaid,or a life guard.
Summary: Awesome gameplay for the first month or so, then I started experiencing major glitching and the game would sort of freeze every 5 seconds which the music is still playing. I feel like I wasted my money because many people are having this glitch and yet EA hasn't done anything to fix it, and I still cannot stand the constant freezing enough to bother playing again.
Summary: This is my favorite expansion pack because it gives me an option to live life on the water front or spend it managing resorts and deep sea exploration plus more. If you love the water, give your Sims 3 a fresh experience of life on the open seas. I love the houseboats. So far the only thing that i find wrong with it is that (depending upon how much Custom Content) you have installed in the game, it will take some time to load.
My Favorite (although sometimes glitchy) Expanision for Sims 3

Summary: To start I'd like to state that I've played since the Sims 1 and I never dreamed that they'd come up with something like this game. I was so excited when I found out about this game that I instantly decided to buy it regardless of the price even though the Sims 3 base game was a disappointment to me. I do feel like I should note up front that although this game is awesome, I often don't play it for long periods of time because it is glitchy.
Summary: I love this game, it provides non-stop fun in Isla Paradiso!! You can create, design, and manage your own resort, meet a mermaid, be a lifeguard, deep sea diver, and explore underwater caves, but watch out for the sharks!! This game is epic, and can be enjoyed by Simmer's for endless hours. You will not get board with all the different adventures you can play and see.
Summary: It's fun, adds more elements to the game, but because there are so many issues with sims getting stuck all around town from poor editing on the developers behalf, the game quickly becomes glitchy with lots of lagging. I do like the added resorts and the way a sim can own them. I like my sims making money their own way rather than rabbit holes. The house boats are fun and the castle was really cool.
