Summary: Sims 3 has been around a long time, and I hadn't played it for years. I did have the World Adventure expansion already from when it first came out. Ambitions was my second (and likely final) expansion and it really was a great value. It adds a LOT of new content for the (work) lives of your sims. I'd already had "self-employed" artists and authors, but it is really cool that those jobs are officially sanctioned and supported with this expansion.
Summary: I like all of the new traits and work places. The town itself though is pretty discussing because of the foggy swamp land and the junk yards. Although, the houses on the rich side of town are very beautiful made. I defiantly like all of the jobs and professions because they are very hands on. I defiantly think it serves its purpose of being all about jobs and professions.
Summary: First I have purchased the Sims 3 and then Sims 3 Ambitions, but I had issues installing the Ambitions. By digging around on Google it seems that the reason for that was that the patch was not applied to the installer. So all I had to do is look up the patch and then just apply that to the installer and everything went smoothly from there on.
Summary: I haven't played around with the new job opportunities. My sims are rich snobs that don't like to work lol! It was really the content that pulled me to purchase the game. I enjoy it, but I didn't like the town at all. Out of all the worlds that I have, I seem to like Hidden Springs the most.
