Summary: Being a huge Sims 2 fan, this was a great addition to my collection. University offers a large amount of new things to do. You can buy your sims Cell phones, MP3 players and Handheld video games. You can 'streak' in college and pick a major in degree. You also get some awesome new clothes to choose. You also have the choice of being in a dorm or renting your own house. It adds the fun of pranking another sim and also adds the Bubble Machine.
Summary: This product said it just was the university expansion pack. But really it included teen style and ikea home stuff. It made buy to disc I didnt have too thats my onlu down fall from this product
Summary: The title says it all. I owned every Sims 2 game, but my University disk didn't work. Bought this and it was a life saver. I love the Sims 2. Luckily, it's an offline game, so it's one I won't have to worry about becoming obsolete. I may be the only one playing Sims 2 in 2012(I know I'm not, but whatever), but I have no intention to stop anytime soon.
Summary: I bought the University expansion pack for myself this past Christmas when all the Sims 2 expansion sets were on sell for $15. It is the first expansion that came out for The Sims 2 and I like that the concept - sending your teen Sims to college - was unique to the Sims 1, instead of a rehash. First, the things I liked about this pack: Once your Sim graduates University they really begin reaping the benefits.
Summary: This expansion pack for The Sims 2 is an essential. It allows you to send your sims to college and while there they not only gain mega loads of skill points but depending on what they major in, when they are adults they can go right into a career and don't have to start out at the beginning level! Just think. You had your toddler play with toys that earned him skill points.
Summary: This expansion adds some good things, like extra aspiration slots and multiple aspiration locks, some good new items and social interactions (Hang Out in particular is nice so that you don't have to babysit your sims' chatting). The college part, however, is tedious. It's optional, of course, but your sims do get some reward for going - the extra aspiration slots are available only to college graduates, as are the new jobs.
Summary: This was my first time buying a Sims 2 expansion pack and I'm rather glad I waited and bought it at a surprisingly low price of $20. This expansion pack was fun and exciting while your sims are at college, but it gets dull after a while. The work you need in order to get a 4.0 average is fairly easy, but time consuming.
Summary: A little boring, the time in college takes a long time. Your sim needs to study and earn skills to pass college which leaves little time to enjoy taking your sim through the college life. You have 72 hours after graduation to move out, which means you can live the college life in that time, but you have to go through such a long period of studying and stuff to get to this point. It's fairly easy to be 4.0 GPA, but I've had lower.
Summary: Basically, this first addition to the sims2 creates another neighborhood. This one is a college campus. But colleges arent the only new thing in this game. However, since the most advertised part of this game is teh biggest, lets start with that. So, why send your sims to university? Teens are giving the option to, at any time during their teen days, go to a university, previously added onto the neighborhood by you. if it doesnt have a college, the teens cant attend one.
