University or not?

loopeyuk, Ciao
13 February 2009
  • Excerpt: "...before I decided to buy the guide to this pack. Usually I am the first to have both the game and guide, but the University guide never really appealled to me to begin with. After trying hopelessly to track down the "secret society" and other parts of the game I gave in and brought myself a second hand copy a bargain at just £5.50 off ebay including Postage. The book holds lots of information across 462 pages. The first 110 are solely for the Sims ...

The best game for the best type of computer!

Jbird "Jbird", Amazon
5 April 2007
  • Summary: This is an amazing game for any older kid, teen, or adult. The game play is simple to learn, however the game is much easier after you have played for awhile and become comfortable with the controls. If you are a fan of The Sims , you will be absolutely blown away by the better realism. The new Sims are smarter, and the amazing graphics make them look even more like real people. Also, your Sims now grow older and change.

A worthwhile purchase!

Jeff, Amazon
8 April 2006
  • Summary: If you played The Sims, you'll LOVE The Sims 2. This game is great! I don't know why people think that you can't play games on a Mac...they run great. The graphics are an extraordinary improvement over the first, and the improved level of realism makes the game even more addicting than before. This has got to be the best game I've ever purchased for the Mac! We've had no problems running it on our 1.8GHz iMac G5.

What a fun game!

Kris Loewen, Amazon
8 January 2006
  • Summary: This game a definite improvement over the first Sims. Better game play, more control over characters, better graphics. I think it does have fairly high requirements, but considering all the AI and 3D rendering, they aren't unreasonable. My wife and I really enjoy this game.

A great, addictive game!

Sarah Robulack, Amazon
27 December 2005
  • Summary: This is a fantastic upgrade to an already brilliant game. The greater levels of social interaction and development, including pregnancy and aging, make this version even more fun and addictive than the original. It is well worth the price, as you'll probably spend many, many hours enjoying this game. What it might do to *your* social life is another question...

Don't throw your money away

Sarah Robulack, Amazon
5 November 2005
  • Summary: I warn you, DO NOT buy this game. I have never in my life had so many problems with something. For over fifty dollars, your getting ripped off. For free, why not, but this game is not worth a cent! Remember, it was made for the PC, not the mac. Stay far, far away from any games when it comes to the mac!
