The Sims 2: Nightlife Expansion Pack (PC): An excellent expansion with a good depth on content
3 May 2010
Summary: The Sims 2: Nightlife is the second expansion pack for The Sims 2, following on from the Sims University. You will need to have The Sims 2 in order for this expansion pack to be playable . As a big fan of The Sims 2, I've slowly been accumulating all the expansion packs, and I'm now working my way through reviewing them in order .
Pros: Good additions to the game
Cons: Not as goal orientated as the university expansion
Summary: >>>>The Sims 2: Nightlife Add-On (PC) <<<< I am a massive sims fan, so much so that i have every sims game ever out .So when this came out it was a must have for my collection. As far as i can remember this was the first expansion pack to come out for the sims 2 and one of the main additions is that the sims can go downtown after dark .i have to say that this is something i don't bother with a lot because it can slow down your pc to do so.
Summary: If you are sick of the same old Sims. The same old work and no play. Well then this game is the best thing for you! There are all new aspirations, outfits, cars, locations and there are vampires. This game really steps it up a notch. I love it.
Excerpt: "...town is added which allows the Sims to go clubbing, bowling and go to restaurants. ***Dating*** Your basic Sim is able to date without this expansion pack but this gives you a helping hand to help find your Sims perfect partner. A mystic woman will arrive by your Sim's house soon after they move in. From her you can buy love potions or ask her to set you up on a blind date. Depending on how much you pay her will depend on how perfect your blind ...
Pros: Dating experience, New area, Cars
Cons: Downtown took a while to load, No point of Vampires
The Sims 2: Nightlife (PC): Very good expansion pack
25 September 2008
Summary: This Expansion Pack is excellent for several reasons. The least of them is definitely not being that it adds a sub-hood to the Sims neighrbourhood you play in, called "downtown". The premise of this EP is that your sims cannot only now go on dates but they can go out and have fun when they go downtown as well. There are several different premade buildings downtown that provide all sorts of different entertainment, from art museum to dodgy looking nightclubs.
Pros: New lots, dates, outings, groups, aspiration, chemistry
Cons: Not much new to do inside the house, you always have to go out
The Sims 2: Nightlife Expansion Pack (PC): Party with the Sims!
10 May 2008
Summary: The Sims 2 Nightlife is one of the better expansion packs that EA has made so far I think. It adds a whole new neighbourhood to your Sims 2 game which includes more houses. Living down town is great; you're in the middle of all the action in the Sims World. They add lots of more places like discos, bowling alleys and your Sim can now have the aspiration of just having fun, the new pleasure aspiration comes with the Nightlife expansion pack.
Excerpt: "...bit too obsessed by them. The graphics are excellent and I find it much easier to play than the original Sims, I tried going on one once, and got bored within five minutes. I especially enjoy going on dates with my Sims, and although I thought it may be hard at first to work it out, it is quite easy once you have played. Another exciting feature is that the Sims now have cars, and you can even build garages, but I found it a bit difficult to work ...
Excerpt: "The expansion pack now brings in a whole new and exciting location for your seems to visit! Not just at night but in the day as well, of course there's more going on at night. This Expansion pack is great for those vampire sims that hate being stuck indoors all day. The Sims 2 Nightlife has over 125 new items, including the DJ Booth, a Dance Sphere (which your sims will get thrown out of and be walked away from or they they can set the difficulty ...
Excerpt: "The sims 2 nightlife...what a good idea, rather than having the parties at your house and have half the people not turn up, you go to the party instead! Whether it's going out to a club, woohooing in the photo booth, enoying an expensive meal, or smooching on the dance floor, this game has it. Escape the daily chores, escape the screaming kids, just hire a nanny and off you go(but please remember to hire the nanny or your kids wil get taken ...
Pros: Good way for your sims to get out and escape day to day sim life
Excerpt: "...sure that I am not the only one who anticipates the release of a new expansion pack for both the original Sims and the Sims 2. And for this pack, the waiting was not in vain. The Sims 2 Nightlife offers a fantastic array of new objects, locations and more. Below I have included a sample selection of some of these things. OBJECTS - DJ Booth - CARS!!! - Karaoke Machines - Disco Lighting - Dance Sphere - Neon Kitchen Preperation Units - ...
Pros: New objects, new locations, new aspiration !
