Summary: Instead of free-living mode, The Sims 2 has a feature called the Aspiration Meter, which is what your Sim wants to do with his/her life. Baby Sims just want to grow up, and once they do an automatic aspiration will appear. Popularity is filled with bringing home friends from school and throwing wild house parties. Romance can be jam packed with kissing and public Whoo-Hooing. Family Aspiration gets you another baby every week!
Summary: The best. I have all the expansion packs (Universty, Nightlife & Open For Business), and this game is so much fun to play, you can build houses, get married, go shopping, have fights and do whatever!! I know its a girls game really, but its the best ever!! I play it for hours on end!! Its also good that u can dowload things of the site too!!
Summary: What an awesome game. I thought The Sims was brilliant when that came out, but in The Sims 2, there are far more things you can do. First of all, in this version your Sim moves through each stage of the lifespan rather than just staying the same age all through the game. Also, if two Sims have a baby together, their child will inherit genes from it's parents!
Summary: thought this game was very disappointing, considering all the great publicity it was getting before it was released, encouraging people to buy it in great crowds when it EVENTUALLY came out. In my opinion it was a waste of a good £40. I liked the first Sims, which I thought was better overall. The graphics were supposed to be excellent on the Sims 2, according to the adverts and all my friends, but I think the graphics are a lot WORSE, just like the actual game itself.
Excerpt: This was one of the very first expansion packs I bought for my Sims 2 game. Though I enjoy the original game I like these expansions as they give you a few added items which just enhance your enjoyment of the game. I wasn't exactly taken with the idea of night life because my main priority with Sims is making and raising families. However, a lot of these expansions come with extras like clothing, jobs, furnishings etc.
Not one of the best expansions, but it adds some interest to the game.

Excerpt: I love the Sims 2 and play is pretty regularly despite being in my early 20s now. It really is the only game I've ever consistently played and enjoyed over time. After trying Sims 3 and deciding I much preferred Sims 2 I decided to invest in a few of the expansion packs and add ons in order to make my game even more exciting. One of the expansions I bought was this 'Freetime' extension pack.
I think this should have been released for free in a patch

Excerpt: EA has never really been known for it's flawless customer support or money saving deals, making it sort of questionable why they are adding so much to Sims 2 after it's been released and then still charge full price. Personally I think that expansion packs should be less than half the price of the full game because afterall, it only adds a few limited items that you can live without.
Excerpt: In 2006 the fourth accessories pack was released for the game the Sims 2. This package is totally devoted to the holidays. This expansion contains only new objects, so no new neighborhoods or careers. You get 60 new objects which all have something to do with the holidays and you get all sorts of fun items as Christmas presents underneath the Christmas tree and even Santa Claus comes along! Plus you get objects to decorate your entire home and garden.
Excerpt: Sims Free Time Sims 2 is all about creating so-called sims, which you can control. You control their lives with making friends, getting into a relationship and having a career. This is the same as the first part of this game. But the biggest changes were nevertheless that Sims could become old and the woman could get really pregnant. Back in Part 1 the sims retained the same age and people could only have children after they romantic way interacted (kissing and hugging).
