Summary: Instead of free-living mode, The Sims 2 has a feature called the Aspiration Meter, which is what your Sim wants to do with his/her life. Baby Sims just want to grow up, and once they do an automatic aspiration will appear.
Summary: If you're the type of gamer that's willing to put up with bugs and wait for a patch before you really get to dig into some fantastic gameplay, Sims2 will do you right well. TS2 is gorgeous in its execution. It's graphically quite sound, and the gameplay is fast and subtle.
Summary: ...I do still prefer the original Sims to this one. The graphic details are exceptional (at least to me, since this is my first experience with a 3-D game). However, I miss a lot of the things I've grown to appreciate from the original Sims series--pets, gardens, vacations, restaurants, and so...
Summary: This is a fun, engrossing game but it is FULL of bugs and also missing some elements that I enjoyed from the first version, specifically the pool table and some other decorative/ recreational items. Some specifics on bugs: 1.
Summary: My son originally borrowed the DVD version of this from a friend, and we were very quickly addicted. The game itself is fantastic. I'm addicted! lol However, I decided to go out and purchase a copy of my own. I bought the CD ROM version as the store I was at didn't have the DVD version.
Summary: O.k., first of all, I love the Sims. My husband hated it every time a new expansion pack came out because he knew I'd be obsessed for the next 2 weeks and he wouldn't be able to get near the computer. Sims 2 was eagerly awaited (by me;), but there are drawbacks. Serious ones.
Summary: The best. I have all the expansion packs (Universty, Nightlife & Open For Business), and this game is so much fun to play, you can build houses, get married, go shopping, have fights and do whatever!! I know its a girls game really, but its the best ever!! I play it for hours on end!!
Summary: What an awesome game. I thought The Sims was brilliant when that came out, but in The Sims 2, there are far more things you can do. First of all, in this version your Sim moves through each stage of the lifespan rather than just staying the same age all through the game.
Summary: thought this game was very disappointing, considering all the great publicity it was getting before it was released, encouraging people to buy it in great crowds when it EVENTUALLY came out. In my opinion it was a waste of a good £40. I liked the first Sims, which I thought was better overall.
