Summary: I could say that this game is a little to realistic because unless you put a lot of thought into what you are doing and how you are doing it then you wouldn't be able to play this game and enjoy it
Summary: I bought this game hoping to get my castle fix, and you cannot design your castle, so that kind of stinks. You can put stone, castle like, walls around your city with gates that open and close, but thats about it. I really do like the game though. Everything you build and every settler has a purpose. You can actually follow a guy through his day and it all makes sense.
Summary: Settlers VI: Rise of an Empire is a very fun game. I enjoyed every aspect of building my town and watching it grow. It was very rewarding and in the end I had a great time. I play this game almost everyday. However, I wish that Settlers VI had represented a medieval settlement more accurately. For example, you can get up to, I think, 200 people in your town. In reality, a large medieval town had about 5,000 people in it, and villages had about 200 people.
Summary: It's a pretty solid game. It's easy to forget about the mission and just spend tons of time gathering resources and building up your settlement. The learning curve isn't too steep; it takes some time to get used to everything but then it gets easy to control. A lot of fun with a lot to do and a lot to keep track of.
Summary: I really enjoy these type of games. I had Settlers IV and liked it. Settlers VI has better graphics. It would be nice if you could occasionally mine gold and farm animals for meat, things that were avalible in 4. All in all I like it.
