Summary: It's a surprisingly competent little city builder. It's the last game from the Settlers franchise I played chronologically, being extremely disappointed with the 5th one (what a wreck) and The Settlers 7. I have to say that Settlers 6 positively striked my conciousness after few games in a row.
Summary: Basically my first contact with the series and a rather unpleasant surprise. Unbelievably lame story and characters (so infantile) and the gameplay itself is kinda... after 10 missions I feel like i keep doing the same **** so I'm gonna drop this, this is a very weak 6/10.
Summary: I purchased this game and had a great time playing it. However, when I tried the Online game, it asked me to input a CD Key. I informed Amazon and seller that the game is asking a CD Key; which the game didn't seem to have included when I purchase it.
Summary: I purchased this game specifically for the online co-op play. I was disappointed since the game would not validate my key. With the latest updates you can play without the CD/DVD, and play LAN mode. LAN is strictly head to head with no computer player option.
Summary: There are two games called "The Settlers" both have several editions. This one was not the one I was looking for. The one I like is very similar to this game except the settlers are extremely cute and the game has more depth and prettier graphics.
Summary: I was very excited about this next installment in the Settlers series. The last one being very replayable and quite imaginitive. I'm somewhat disappointed in this one. It seems they took a step back instead of forward.
Summary: A farmer walks out during the warm season and collects his wheat, which he in turn takes back into town. There, a baker turns the wheat into bread, which will be bought and consumed by an iron minor.
Strong city-building sim, but lacks anything resembling a challenge.

Summary: Alright. Let's see here. This was hyped to me as "Like Stronghold 2, except with more focus on city life than combat." That was a pretty fair comparison. In Settlers, your main object of any mission is to build up a city infrastructure and promote your knight to new ranks in order to gain access to...
Summary: Not very good at all. It gets repetative after 2 skirmish games. I say buy it used or forget about it. I am cutting my lossed after buyig this dreck and the bug-ridden mess that is The Settlers 2 the 10 Anniversary.
