Summary: This is actually a really great game, despite what some other reviewers say. Is it difficult? Yes, but the challenge gives it lots of replayability. My only criticism is the online play, which sometimes freezes when someone leaves the game and it can be laggy. Aside from that, it's a really great game.
Summary: This version of the game is very fun. It has a nice story line. Multiplayer can take a while to get a game together sometimes (not more than 1-20 min at the worst so far). Grphics are good and it has some features to customize your castle. Most online games last about 1 hour, but are fun. It is free to play online, so its a good game to get and play on the side if you play WOW or something. This is a strategy game though, keep that in mind.
Summary: After reading through the number of complaints about the DRM - which I do share, don't get me wrong - I felt the overall commentary was not doing justice to the game. In that regard, I hope this thorough overview of the game assists you all in deciding on this purchase. Pro's: 1. The graphics are impressive and highly cartoonish, which I find particularly appealing, though others may be turned off to this. 2.
Summary: In all honesty I'm so sick of all the complains about the DRM... I LOVED Settlers 6, and just wished for the next game to comeout ASAP! But all the reviews I read was about DRM and not the actual game. So I got it, just to see for my self, since everyone else was so busy bashing Ubi, I figured the servers will be free and available for the few that did get the game to play.
