Summary: I just got this game a week ago and i'm really enjoying it. The game kind of feels like a resident evil just because you're fighting zombies and monsters. The missions are really interesting and will keep you hooked. I've been bouncing around mmos for awhile. I was with SWTOR for a long time and that was my favorite for awhile. I gave WoW a try and while it was fun, it got old fast. I tried out Guild Wars 2 and to me it was a disappointment.
Awesome setting and environments, great mechanics, terrific occult/end-times themes and references to cult and pulp stories.

Summary: 30-second flavor intro: The Secret World (TSW): Join a secret society in resisting the coming darkness, fight back against the horror-harbingers of the apocalypse, and discover your hidden power over melee, guns, and magic. Globe-hop between Lovecraftian locations seen in the present day (circa 2012, Mayan end of days).
Summary: I love this mmo. It isn't your normal "go collect rat tails" or "wake up the sleeping workers" type mmo. It is a go through a portal, pick up your shotgun and start blasting the zombies and mutants that spawned around this little town and help the survivors type mmo. And that is fantastic. Because you feel like you are in the real world with supernatural things happening around you. As if it isn't completely out of the realm of could be...
Summary: First rate story telling, amazing cut scenes to introduce most missions, clever mission reports, sly and dry humour and playful pokes at many of the pop culture icons we know and love. The ability and skill progression as well as their take on gearing up make the game itself almost a puzzle as you look for the best combination to achieve your goals. Highly recommend the game.
Summary: Very Unique game and great game play. I'm a long time MMO player since eq1 and a bit tired of the sword and sorcery games. This game is fresh, with great in depth stories and story line. By far my favorite MMO.
Excellent change of pace mmo. Fantastic as a f2p experience

Summary: This game's got it all. Sexy graphics, challenging gameplay if you aren't prepared, fun quests, and no central quest hubs to speak of like in traditional mmo's. If you try to do every quest in every "hub" you'll go nuts. The recipe for success is doing quests as you come across them, and remember that in this game leveling is done differently, so you want Skill Points (SP) and Action Points) AP to progress and gain new skills and actions.
Amazing MMO, breaks free of the cookie cut formula that plague modern mmos

Summary: The Secret World was an amazing surprise to find, not having a ton of advertisement compared to the major mmos and games, this one went under my radar for a year sadly. Having found it during the holiday sale I did some research before buying it since mmo's these days are just copies of one another and get boring fast. Not this one.
Summary: The Secret World brings everything I love about games together into one completely enjoyable experience. Humor, fast paced fighting, deep deep flexibility in play style and absolutely rewarding every second. I think it has the most bang for the buck if any game I've ever owned. Intelligent, challenging, fun, and never boring. If you are even thinking about trying it, just do it.
Summary: the game has a lot of new dynamics for an MMORPG and i really like the fact that you can be all 3 roles for 1 character and learn all the abilities. some people have an issue with the play style i quite enjoy it. i really enjoy the story line and the fact that your character is the silent protagonist .
