Summary: People who like strategy will enjoy playing through this game. It is fun micro-managing your growing film empire and trying to keep your stars in line as they struggle to become box-office hits. However, the real fun starts with the sandbox mode, which allows for surprisingly fun movie-making. Once you get the hang of the custom scriptwriting it becomes easy to make films, which can then be exported and uploaded to where ever you choose.
Summary: Purchased this item for my daughter. She still plays SIMS. Has had the complete SIMS games for many years and keeps adding the expansions and spends hours with her SIMS family. I would recommend this to teens and adults, it's very addictive.
Summary: This game rocks. It is quite addicting. It takes about three tries to figure out how to play it to win. You need to focus on separating stars from directors and winning awards. The create your own video helps a lot as well as the star maker edition. I had a bit of trouble using this with Vista and Win7. I found you must NOT run it in compatibility mode and you need to use the lowest graphics and lowest screen resolution (800X600).
Summary: Game Works well on A Windows Vista PC and The Graphics are pretty good for it being a 2005 game. You Start off in the 1920s and go through the years that movies were shot in. You Then Unlock New Sets and Buildings and watch your stars rise in fame, or fall. They Can Develop Eating and Drinking addictions as well..
This game is too hard to summarize in one sentence. It's just that great.

Summary: Very fun game. If you love the Sims, you're going to love this. It's very user friendly, basically, it's easy to catch onto just by doing the step by step tutorial. It's like any progression, real life game, you start from the bottom and make your way up. Once you get your stars going, your lot poppin', you're going to feel the satisfaction. I would definitely recommend to this ANYONE who enjoys the Sims as much as I do.
Summary: a great game playing experience with the movies because not only do you see first hand on making movies you also get to run your own studio. you start in the 1920s and work up to the 20th century making movies and winning awards along your career. you will enjoy it i know i am.
Summary: Great Game for all of those who dreamed about running thier own hollywood set. You can manipulate everything from what your stars where to what props end up on your movie set even import your own sound files to go along with your movie production. The game starts off fairly easy but then gradually increases in complexity as the actors begin to get more fussy the higher their star rating gets.
Summary: With The Movies, you're basically getting two games in one. Part of the game is actually making movies, which can be fun. The other part of the game is simulation in which the player builds and runs a movie studio, and I found this just as much fun. If you like sim games, you'll probably like The Movies.
Summary: Okay this is not quite what I was expecting. I thought you could make your own movies and actors, as in write a script and create actors for it but it's that way in away but more of a sims game and I do love my sims 3 so, it's a good game, ty!
