Don't judge a book by its cover

  • Conclusion: I've gotta be honest when i first picked this up i was ready to dismiss it based on an unknown publisher to me and what looked like dated graphics for this day and age. Thank god i took a punt on it, the aforementioned graphics are a bit wooden as is the voice acting but you must, repeat MUST look through this as the story is fantastic and brilliantly presented to you, the gamer.

Utterly Fantastic!

  • Conclusion: Ive been playing this game for a couple of months, so its pretty long, but to be fair i play it for a couple of hours every now and then. However it is just such a good game, if you love ghost hunting games and point and click games this is just a bonus! Ive sat playing this in the dark and ive had to turn the lights on because ive got that spooked by this game. Theres so much to unravel and its such a great mystery. I really recommend it to anyone! Great Game!

  • Conclusion: Excellent game. Johnathan Boakes has produced another memorable PC game . As its creator he has meticulously planned out a great story line apparently covering multi time zones. it combines logical puzzle solving with some great spooky moment definately a game to play alone on the dark with headphones on to get an even better effect. Quite scaryy in the churches . The attention to detail is superb.

  • Conclusion: It is annoying when people give low ratings for home grown games that may be slightly flawed, but are original and definately atmospheric and entertaining. Perhaps they should stick to 35 quid games with 3d graphics, loads of guns and bangs that last 3 hours so they can go bye byes at 8 oclock.

  • Conclusion: This game is amazing, i bought it after reading the good reviews and i agree with all of them. It's quite tricky in parts and they take a while to do, so i had to use the walkthrough once or twice, but a very spooky and entertaining game

  • Conclusion: I have a broken leg and i have been stuck in bed. I decided to get this out and play it. I was hiding behind covers and lost for the most part of the game. I had to cheat a bit but i got throught it and now i want more from these characters. Yo, creator please send more. The ghost where scary, and you never knew what was going to happen next. I loved the crypt. When i saw it it took me a few hours just get nerve to go down there.

Another Excellent Story

  • Conclusion: I really like the games produced by this publisher - interesting, detailed, atmospheric, complex stories. Just goes to show what you really need for game production is imagination, creativity and commitment and not necessarily high end graphics and fancy animation. The only down side is I think the game are a little overpriced for the degree of replayability the games offer (which is limited) but still Great Fun and I'm too scared to go into the crypt.

Best PC Game I've Played So Far

Honest_Reviewer, Amazon
17 January 2009
  • Summary: The graphics, the "spookiness" of the surroundings, and the voiceovers were captivating. This game was creepy, and kept me coming back for more. The story line played like a novella, and there was no shortage of areas to explore, or mysteries to uncover. I was very impressed with this game, from start to finish. Definitely worth your while!
