Summary: I have played so many of these games; Scratches, the Dark Fall trilogy, Darkness Within, Gray Matter, Barrow Hill, Rhiannon, and others, and this one is by far my favorite. It has a really deep, perfectly evolving story that keeps you really interested- not a lot of fluff and filler that contributes...
Summary: This game is lasting longer than any of the Nancy Drew games I play regularly. It is challenging and interesting. The storyline of the ghost hunting is one I enjoy anyway, but now I get to be the one investigating.
Summary: This game is similar to most adventure games that are out there and if you are into these games, like I am, it is well worth it. Some of the puzzles were a little hard for me so I had to cheat and use the walkthru. The game was fun to play and had a good story line to it.
Summary: I love this game. It is a little slow at first and I have to download a cheat/walkthrough sheet from the INternet because it is not intuitive for an old dame like me. I like the music and sound effects. It adds to the already spooky atmosphere. I like the characters and the scenery.
Summary: This is a game that you can't stop playing once you start because you NEED to know what's going on with this town, and where this treasure is, and who/what is haunting your house, Saxton in general, who/what is trapped in the caves, and the church, and in the woods, and in the cabin by the tracks,...
Summary: I would have to give this pc adventure game a five star-five star rating. This is Johnathon Boates at his best. Everything about was excellent: Graphics (somewhat enhanced), Dialog, Gameplay, Sound, Mystery, Ghosts and Scaryness.
Summary: As usual I read the other reviews of anything I review-and as usual I was amazed at the variety of reactions. But the gamut of emotions involved among any group of interviewers is usually pretty wide, covering everything from bliss to boredom to even outrage. "The Lost Crown" is no exception.
Summary: Whenever Jonathan Boakes and Matt Clark get together and make a game, they make a really good one. The Dark Falls, Barrow Hill, and now this - their best yet. I enjoyed it more than any game I've played in years.
