Summary: Already owned a copy and needed another since the manufacturer was nice enough to strip the split screen coop. This annoyed me as I can't play it with my girlfriend on the TV, one of us has to use a small laptop.
Summary: cheaper than steam, (or i think it was on sale or something?) however the game itself was very spam basic auto attack until you can use an ability, there's no tactic or thought past that. you just hit the enemy, no interesting game mechanics. no new take on inventory/rpg loot systems, you get better loot as you progress so you fiddle with that a lot.
Summary: the service was fantastic.has for the game well that another matter.cant seem to get into it at all.dont get me wrong it looks well done and looks fantastic.not sure it was right for me though.just personal taste I suppose.
Summary: I must admit, War in the North isn't a great game. Its biggest flaws are possibly the very repetitive combat system and simply the fact that it's a very buggy game. Be prepared for frame dropping en masse and regular crashes. Putting that aside I still very much enjoyed playing War in the North. And that is because I am a massive fan of Tolkiens books and Peter Jacksons films.
Summary: You think you are buying a game....not quite....you have to download from a game streaming site. This proved to be a pain as there seemed to be trouble signing in...constantly. I still have not played the game..and I have now cast it aside in resigned disgust.
Summary: Being a kind of LotR fan, this game was not at all what I had expected, although I guess I should have checked this before buying the game. Nice graphics but not overly attractive compared to for example Dragon Age:Origin, good simple movement, but not very tough fights (maybe I set the difficulty too low?), but I find the storyline the least interesting and not very motivating.
Summary: I bought this game for my wife and I after it was recommended by a friend at work. I loved playing Warcraft, Oblivion, Skyrim and Morrowind. We are on the last chapter on our first co-op play through. Whats good The combat - it is great fun. You have to connect with your sword, block, roll, time your big hits and aim with your missiles. You also have to predict the enemy moves and adapt your strategy accordingly.
Summary: The game is centred on a map. This is somewhat deceiving and, ultimately, disappointing in that you only play a small proportion of it. Admittedly, the clue is in the title but why show vast swathes of land that you're not going to venture into? I enjoyed the game but felt the ending came unexpectedly and abruptly. Further expansion would be very welcome.
