Summary: The Legend of Crystal Valley is a combination of some of the best and the worst elements in games: wonderful, intriguing story line, sympathetic heroine, fascinating accessory characters and beautiful settings--combined with some horribly rendered "people" and clunky (at best) action. When you think of some of the animation available in gaming systems, and compare this, it fails.
Summary: I had to review this highly unusual game. It had a wonderfully imaginative and deep story and some beautiful levels. The sound and music were superb. It would not take much more effort to make this game truly exceptional if the following improvements could be made. 1. The 3D animated figures are the weakest part of the game. They look clunky, and move very awkwardly and do not blend well with the backgrounds. Unfortunately, it makes the game look poorer than it is.
Summary: Just finished this game, and felt like reviewing it. I'm the hugest fan of the King's Quest series, and Legend of the Crystal Valley did have the same 'feel'. The story was ambitious and engaging, and the idea of the portals, worlds, and different creatures (Hopper) was really original. Especially the Angels - unlike any I've ever seen - and the use of the dragons, giants were fresh.
Summary: This is one of the best adventure games I have played yet. I deafinitely added this to my collection! I thought of this as Myst and Dream Chronicles with a twist!!! Adventure and puzzle all in one, this game makes for a perfect stratagey into another world beyond our very own existince!!! Thank you GameZebo for making the possible tips and tricks for the game!!!
Summary: i really liked it,but i had to look on gamezebo to solve some things...:D after everything i solved i realised that...it really wasn't that hard...that was pretty strange...there are still some things i can't understand.
Summary: Five stars because the graphics are superb to any other game I played except Emerald City Confidential. I truly loved this game and I am most certainly looking forward to a sequel. I went to your Cateia home site to see if there were any other games of this excellent I could purchase there. My game site is Big Fish Games in the United States. I love their membership prices and the games they bring to the forum. Keep up the excellent work.
Summary: I did not finish this game, but the quality is high. I just am pretty jaded lately with casual games and while this one has great graphics, interesting story, and so far a good level of difficulty, I think I'm on overload with the point & click adventure types. I've also had some problems with some quirks in the game--very small ones, but still enough to throw me off.
