Summary: Shivering Isles DLC adds two separate planes of existence to the Elder Scrolls universe - Mania and Dementia. Essentially they're two iterations of the same place. The door to the Shivering Isles opens up in game after installation, I would recommend playing this extra content with an experienced character. After a brief in-game introduction you'll find yourself in a sort of holding area which is a weird town full of odd people.
Pros: Weird setting, New creatures, locations and items
Cons: Wackiness sometimes seems forced or cheesy in the voice acting
Summary: Shivering Isles, released in 2007, is the only major expansion pack to the 2006 RPG, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The expansion pack revolves around the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath fight against the Greymarch, an apocalypse type event that happens at the end of every era. Sheogorath is very entertaining as some of his phrases are absolutely hilarious because they feel so out of place.
Pros: Mad new storyline, entertaining characters, powerful new weapons and beautifully crafted landscape.
Cons: Lack of some features presented available in main game.
Summary: The Shivering Isles is a large DLC add-on for Oblivion. It's set in the large isles of madness, where Sheogorath the king of the island wants your help. The Shivering Isles really does the theme of madness well. It's completely different from Cyrodiil. As much as I enjoy the great world of Cyrodiil the whacky change is welcome, it's good to have a completely different world to experience in the game. There are a number of new unique creatures that fit the style.
Summary: The Elder Scrolls Shivering Isles is a Great Expansion of oblivion although only really needed if you have done everything in oblivion which takes some work, but if that's the case then its definitely a great pack even if you haven't done everything. The pack adds new items and alchemy materials and opens up a massive world along with new enemies and bosses which you will find very fast compared to the second pack the knights of nine its a massive difference from adding...
Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles (PC): Shivering Isles, making Oblivion even bigger!

Summary: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is one of the biggest RPGs of all time. There is so much to do that many players find it overwhelming and doing a majority of the game can take any one player months. Shivering Isles makes Oblivion even larger! Oblivion is a game that is completely open-ended, you can play in order to protect the world, become the head of the Guilds, steal as much as possible, or become incredibly rich. There is no set way to play Oblivion.
Pros: Very fun to play, good for leveling up, cool new items.
Cons: Oblivion doesn't really need an expansion pack.
Summary: The Shivering Isles is an expansion to the role playing game The Elder Scrolls Oblivion. In this game expansion pack you get a totally new world to roam around in, it is at least as big as ¼ the main game. It will take you quite a while to walk from one side of the map to the other. The story of this game follows a mad King called Sheogorath who is convinced that his land of mania and dementia is going to be destroyed, your goal is to help him save it.

Summary: Si vous avez aimé Oblivion, foncez.
