Summary: I didn't expect too much from this series other than a shoot 'em up with super powers. In that aspect it was passable, lots of fun, a bit of too much fluff thrown in with the story line, and decent gun play. The biggest problem I have is that it's a bit short (I clocked 10 hours on hardest difficulty and decent amount of exploring) and that the super powers doesn't feel very satisfying.
Summary: Arrived on time. Installed on a Windows 7 64 bit with no hitch (steam game). The game is not like the first Darkness even in feel of game play, controls are a bit loose at times, and the graphics are to cartooned for this style of game "Hence the Name"..
Summary: Where to start: it wasn't what I was expecting but was surprisingly good for the wild and crazy story that it is. Not sure how to describe it, a twisted comic book style of writing with a mobster backstory and bits of goofy humour thrown in. Single player might be a bit short but there's coop modes and 'new game+' mode to keep you busy. Has some very nice cell shading eye candy too. Almost a 4/5 or even higher if they had dropped the coop modes and added a longer story.
Summary: I loved the gameplay and the storylinem and I would love to see more sequels to this one. That said, if you're going to start selling us mini-games, please do try not to charge us full price for them. I feel a little ripped off because this game cost as much as one that would have included 10 times more content.
