A worthy sequal

Summary: This game is a great addition to the serise and is very much worth getting. If you're a fan of the monkey island serise ( and like most people I'm sure you are) you will deffinately enjoy this one.
Summary: While being a departure to the style of the first 2 monkey island games which had a darker tone, The Curse of Monkey is one of the best Lucas Art adventure games of the 90s. Having very memorable game moments, very funny witty humour, great atmospheric music, and beautiful styled graphics - I love...
Summary: There is little else to be said about the quality of the remake, graphically and audibly. It is superb. Character animations, voice acting, and backdrops look terrific. The most significant problem with the game is little of the game play was changed.
Summary: Like its predecessors, the Curse of Monkey Island sets another example of a great adventure game full of wit, humor, and excitement. The beautiful graphics, music, and intricate plot all seem to harmonize with each other so well, I really got the feeling that LucasArts has a lot of talented people.
Summary: The graphics are so unique and they make no attempt to be realistic so even amidst newer games, curse of monkey island holds its own. The voices are good and the jokes are great. I took one star off because unless you like to be boggled this game isn't for you.
Summary: This game is great. Simply put, it shines at the top of its class. The game has so many jokes and puns that you'll be laughing more than you'll be playing. It has great cartoonish graphics that perfectly compliment the games already hilarious story, adding hilariously drawn characters and scenery.
Summary: Monkey3 would rank as one of my favorite games. Perfect voice casting for all characters, but especially for Guybrush and LeChuck. I think that this Monkey game so far is the second best with Monkey 2:LeChuck's revenge, being the best.
Summary: I didn't have the advantage of playing the previous Monkey Island games, so I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Guybrush Threepwood before. Now I wish I could go back and play those other games because I thought he was a lot of fun.
Summary: When I read the review and it said 30 plus hours of gameplay, I hoped to get at least that, but instead I only got about 8. Other than the game's short length, it has to be one of the best games I have ever played. Great cut-scenes, graphics, and voice overs.
