Summary: download was fast and flawless. the only glitches I saw was close to the end of the game, the screen started to flicker, but stopped as fast as it started and that was it. The game itself is very, very long, alot of dialog(?) it is best to go through all of it because this is where your clues come in and let you know where to go next. The graphics were fantastic, so life like.
Summary: This was an excellent adventure game with many difficult puzzles to solve and with fast-paced action. I had a BIG problem with the dialogue: Much too much of it and the main character mumbled lowly half of the time, and so, was difficult to hear, as were other characters, at several times in the game due to too much -- way too much -- background sound and music.
Summary: Download took very little time and game loaded with no problems. I had played the first 2 Black Mirror games and enjoyed them so this game was equally enjoyable. Good game for people who like to work out sometimes puzzling situations.....
Summary: As PC adventure games go, Black Mirror II is a pretty good game. In summary: Pros: * Very complete and detailed storyline * Well-developed characters * Quality graphics/ambiance * Extraordinarily long game for the genre and price Cons: * Overuse of dialogue to explain surroundings and objects. As a player, I would rather be shown what's in tool shed instead of the character describing it to me. * Overuse of linear "to-do" tasks.
Summary: I am kind of lazy so I always print the walkthrough for these walkaround games and truth be told I would give up without it. But, I am about 4/5 done with this game and I like it. I like the story, the scenery, the voices are pretty good. You need to click on a magnifying glass on the top right then all the usable items are identified for you. While some are just there to be clicked on, the character always has some snarky remark to make about them (pretty humorous).
Summary: Nice sequel to the original, a little linear but fun. The background soundtrack sometimes makes it hard to hear the characters talking but if you go to settings and adjust it, you should be fine.
Summary: I enjoyed this game for the most part; some of the puzzles were challenging particularly near the end of the game. As another reviewer noted, the lead character's accent and speech pattern wears a bit thin at first, (at least if you are not from Boston!) but does grow on you as the story develops. The game was well worth the reasonable price and I have downloaded BM III for more.
