  • Summary: Performs poorly. Very unreliable. Should have known better. Gave two stars instead of one only because Amazon was good enough to give us a refund after hearing our complaint about the quality of this game.

The Amazing SpiderCrash

Louis, Amazon
29 September 2014
  • Summary: I downloaded this digital game and was breifly enjoying it until the program crashed on me. After reviewing the Steam discussion boards and contacting the developer with no response I realized I was not the only one with this issue. As recent as yesterday 9/28/15 when I play the game it still crashes after moments of playing. The only bonus is that I got it at a good price, but whaf good is that when it does not even function properly.

Great Webslingging, but everything else is pretty mediocre

IronChefMIk, Amazon
28 May 2014
  • Summary: I will start off by saying that the web slinging in this game is great. Instead of just magically grabing the sky it actually has to connect with a building. The triggers correspond to the hand that spider-man slings with. Some of the alternate suits looked pretty cool as well. I really dig the 2099 costume look in this game. Unfortunately everything else about the game is average at best.

another terrible movie tie-in game rushed, buggy, glitchy and stupid. Poor Spider-man. again held down by greedy dumb companies

R. McGinness, Amazon
1 May 2014
  • Summary: This game = Fail. it's an another average spider-man game. That's it. After all these mediocre titles Beenox doesn't deserve to make any more. It's not a terrible game but it should and could be way better with the right developers. The game has glitches and the usual camera issues from a beenox spidey game. With such lackluster graphics (zero next gen really) there is absolutely no reason the games should not play well on PS3 and 360.

Not the worst game I've played, but nowhere near worth the asking price

Kyle J. Conatser "Bazinga!", Amazon
29 April 2014
  • Summary: The first Amazing Spider-Man game wasn't half bad. It had funny lines, great combat which felt like the Batman Arkham games and a good variety of missions. Unfortunately, I thought this second game would be just as good and found myself disappointed. Spider-Man acts like a spaz in cutscenes, constantly moving around and waving his arms in a most un-Spider-Man like way. The dialogue is laughably bad and the camera is awkward and terribly glitchy.
