  • Summary: This is one of the better mystery/hidden object games currently available! Plot basically involves a mad scientist and unfortunate residents at an orphanage with a supernatural theme. Overall, the graphics/artwork is of high standard. The animations were also of good quality and a nice touch. The character artwork is OK(ish) but could be improved. The hint and skip puzzle functions are useful and were utilized when needed.

  • Summary: This was actually an interesting game. There is a fire or explosion in an orphanage that puts the children and the hostess in a state of flux. You have to find items that are unique to each individual, restore them, and in turn they give you a special power to aid in the next rescue attempt. You also have to find parts to a machine that caused the explosion, put it back together and I believe, will bring everyone back.

  • Summary: I played the SE version and expected more from this game in playing it - it was just missing something in the game environment - it wasn't hot or cold, it didn't have an eerie, sinister feeling that one gets when searching an abandoned building. Yes, the orphanage was a nice concept, the graphics were good, the puzzles were easy to tedious.

  • Summary: This game starts out with an interesting premise -- and tempts you to acquire the special abilities of the orphans who have perished in a terrible fire at their orphanage. But the backstories of the kids seem cursory, and you can only use your newly acquired powers in a few specific instances. What fun it would have been to use them as you see fit!

  • Summary: This is a game, which i did like. I liked the music, I liked the HO-scenes (they did not hide things in the dark or made them too little to find), I liked the story which has this human touch as the woman, who holds the orphanage really seemed to care for the children, I liked the puzzles. I liked that i did not have to use the hintbutton often. It was a real pleasure to play and much more worth the money than other games i recently bought. Good job, dear developers.

  • Summary: This was an interesting HO/Adventure game. I know the concept is still about an evil mastermind, but they put a twist into it with the paranormal kids, and the evil twin brother. Didn't see that one coming, although I wondered, how could he connected himself to all those wires - wasn't exactly clear if the evil twin was handicapped or not. They made him appear as if he was. Anyway, still enjoyed the game play.

  • Summary: I played the SE of this adventure HOG and found it half good stuff and half not so good. I skipped an awful lot of puzzles for lack of instructions and playability. I often had no clear idea where to go next and there was lots of backtracking. Relied on a WT for "what next" on occasion as hints not helpful in that regard.

  • Summary: I enjoyed Cinderstone much more than the previous Agency of Anomalies game, Mystic Hospital, but it wasn't as long. Voice acting was above average. The graphics were nicely done except for being a bit blurry and a bit much haze -- though not as bad as in the previous Agency of Anomalies game. The Hint would tell you if there was nothing to do in your current screen, but wouldn't point you towards the direction you should go.

  • Summary: For me.. this was much better than the first one. All the things I didn't care for in the first one were rectified. The dull, dreary and dirty atmosphere had changed to being full of color and really beautifully drawn. And there was interaction with the entities. They give you their abilities which turn out to be quite fun to use. There were some fun mini games..

  • Summary: Did you like playing Return to Ravenhurst? If you did you will probably be bored with this one. I played the demo, thought it was OK, bought the full version...and never finished it. I guess I am totally spoilt by the great games like Return to Ravenhurst, Dire Grove, Raincliff and the Vanishing Hitchhiker. Cindeford Orphanage is not quite in the same league. Pros: nice story, good graphics and music that doesn't irritate.
