Tesla: The Weather Man

18 May 2012
  • Excerpt: Tesla: The Weather Man is an amusing, knee-slapping parody based on the “War of Currents” from the year 1891. With George Westinghouse funding Nikola's AC generator as the superior power system, Thomas Edison, filled with jealousy, goes on a rampage with his DC powered robots in an attempt to prove that he is the greatest man in science. The story is being told by Mark Twain, who happens to have a way to help you along your journey to stop the madness of Thomas Edison.
  • Pros: Fun Gameplay; Hilarious Story; Catchy Music
  • Cons: Poor Animation

Tesla: The Weather Man Review (PC)

Gamers Daily News
7 July 2011
  • Summary: Aside from the lackluster graphics and overall length, Tesla is an amazing game well worth the $3.33, I’d recommend it for anyone into platforming titles and looking for something that can be played in short bursts.

  • Excerpt: Take some history, add a splash of tongue in cheek humour, science, good design and the classic 2D platformer and blend until ultra smooth. Indie developer Thoughtquake Studios have done just that providing, not merely a classy game, but also one with some beautiful educational overtones.
