Summary: One of the best Fantasy Action/MMORPG i've ever played. Even after FinalFantasy XIV and ESO i still think fondly and miss TERA. I was a beta tester and have all sorts of neat stuff for having bought the game.
Summary: Bought this just for the perks. Code worked backwards and forwards. +8 character slots per server, maxed out bank slots, founder status, founder mount, lioness mount, 2 emeralds, and a few other odds and ends I wasn't really paying attention to as I mostly was interested in the bank expansion and...
Summary: TERA is now free to play but a physical CD key will grant you a "founder" account that includes 8 character slots and 4 bank slots of each realm as well as an account-wide permanent mount and the "Founder" title.
The faster mount that get applied to all your characters is also a nice bonus. Once you have played the game

Summary: So I got Founder (the title and status the code from the boxed game gives you) after playing for a few months, knowing that I was in it to stay. I specifically wanted the extra bank slots and character slots. The faster mount that get applied to all your characters is also a nice bonus.
Then you get all this other cool stuff on top of it

Summary: You get all these items that you could buy for so much more in the game. More character slots, and more auctions slots alone cost more than this special edition of the game did. Those two things ALONE make this a "worth-it" purchase. Then you get all this other cool stuff on top of it.
Summary: I bought this for the founder status codes, so I didn't even install the disks. Founder status is definitely worth the money for the disk though, it's the same cost as the monthly Elite subscription, but only a one time payment.
