Summary: Over all the game is beautiful to look at but the quest lines leave me unimpressed, if you love just grinding to max level for raiding then this is for you, you will get there fast. I'm a gamer that loves the story line, I want to be hooked and this just didn't do it for me.
Summary: As a veteran MMO player for the last 10 years the F2P market is really a mixed bag. On the one hand you get to try it before you decide to invest any money. On the flip side having to grind out everything even if you do have a lot of free time can be a drag. The combat system is unique and once you get use to it ( no tab targeting here.) it's really a blast. I am enjoying it so far that I purchased a retail copy from Amazon ( $20) so I could get the founders title.
Summary: It's a Korean-style MMO. Prepare to grind. More manageable if you pay for XP boosts. Combat is admittedly more fun than most MMOs, at least for a while. Plenty of options for vanity, nice detail on models. Controls and UI are pretty annoying to work with sometimes. Plenty that could be more intuitive. Minimap/map highlighting was good.
Summary: TERA is a Korean Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game that focuses more on playing than button clicking. Your dodges and where you attack actually matter in terms of many of the enemies. The story itself is only so-so, but if you play with friends you'll likely be too busy busting a monster to notice. Like many MMOs, TERA works best with friends. Oh, and this if you're offended by impractical outfits for the female characters, you'll really want to skip this one.
Summary: first of all tera is nothing like world of warcraft so stop comparing them. tera's big thing is that it has action style combat system witch i wold love to see in more mmos but you will quickly get tired of it. the game is plain beautiful witch means it may no run for some so download the 7 day trail to see if you can run it. tera misses out on the biggest part of a mmo the story.
Summary: No customization at all, very basic hair styles and colors. Can't change body weight. Basically, can't make your character unique.... The graphics for the characters are not that good... However, the world graphics are really nice. Gameplay is VERY advanced. Not for casual players.
Summary: Okay, so first impression - This game is going to be awesome! When you log in it seems just like that. Although there are a couple problems Tera still has that needs to be fixed. The graphics are almost up to par to Final fantasy's XIV, but the difference is Tera lags a lot worse! I bought a brand new graphic card and it handles XIV smoothly, but Tera not as much. In addition the movement even on low graphics is Choppy in this game.
Summary: Awesome game great graphics huge world .Its free to play I bought this just to get the benefits of having extra bank slots, a mount plus a few other things and also being a founder ( Owning an original copy ) is cool to help boost the game I'm over 30th level and my character still feels weak. Maybe I'm not good at the game but I still should be a bit more powerful then I am or have better gear.
Conclusion: If you are looking for a big online world to make your home for the next few months/years this game is not suitable. If you want a fun action game to play for the free month that comes in the box this may just be the game to buy.
