Great for raiders, sucks for story desires.

Summary: Over all the game is beautiful to look at but the quest lines leave me unimpressed, if you love just grinding to max level for raiding then this is for you, you will get there fast. I'm a gamer that loves the story line, I want to be hooked and this just didn't do it for me.
Summary: Pros: The combat is absolutely fantastic, it went beyond my expectations for a MMO. The graphics were superb as well. Cons: Uninteresting story, little to keep me playing, and nothing special to work towards. Graphics and combat were the only two things that made me like the game, but without anything else, there's not really a reason to keep me playing.
Summary: an MMO to be exact. You run around and kill things. It is free to play, but if you buy the box set like I did you get a bunch of actually useful premium items, including a mount. Really... the game is pretty average for its type... nothing that stands out. Standard races... standard classes... standard largely uninteresting world. If there was a plot, I couldn't see it or even be bothered to care what was going on... just one quest to another.
Summary: You can download and play this game for free now. They dropped the subscription costs, however, if you still want to pay $15/mo they give you "Elite Status". Elite Status provides you with boosts for xp, gold, and reputation. You also get: extra rewards for completing dungeons, a special Elite mount, an atlas so you can fast travel places, a flaming halo, 150 spellbinds, half the cooldown time for dungeons and raids, double daily quests, strong box keys, lower auction...
Summary: As a veteran MMO player for the last 10 years the F2P market is really a mixed bag. On the one hand you get to try it before you decide to invest any money. On the flip side having to grind out everything even if you do have a lot of free time can be a drag. The combat system is unique and once you get use to it ( no tab targeting here.) it's really a blast. I am enjoying it so far that I purchased a retail copy from Amazon ( $20) so I could get the founders title.
Summary: It's a Korean-style MMO. Prepare to grind. More manageable if you pay for XP boosts. Combat is admittedly more fun than most MMOs, at least for a while. Plenty of options for vanity, nice detail on models. Controls and UI are pretty annoying to work with sometimes. Plenty that could be more intuitive. Minimap/map highlighting was good.
Summary: Grind, grind, grind. Thats what you have to expect, you will do the same quests over and over fighting the same(not even retextured mobs) from level 1 to 60. The combat is alright, but massive levels of grinding detract from the charm.
