Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 is a first-person shooter video game that was developed by America’s Valve Corporation. It is a dedicated multiplayer game that is played in teams. The game was first released in October 2007 as part of The Orange Box, a video game compilation. It was later released as a standalone package in April 2008. This game is also available for the Xbox 360 and the Sony Playstation 3.

Two teams can play against each other in Team Fortress 2 and up to 24 players can join the game. Each team must represent either the Reliable Excavation and Demolition (RED) or the Builders League United (BLU). Members of each team can choose to play as one of the nine available classes. These classes are categorized into offense, defense, and support roles and each has its own strengths and weaknesses. Offensive classes include the scout, the soldier, and the pyro. The engineer, the heavy, and the demoman make up the defensive classes. Support roles consist of the medic, the sniper, and the spy. Although playing as teams, detailed statistics are provided for each player.

The game has six official maps but, through the released updates, players gain seven extra maps and five arena maps. The objective of the game depends on which map or mode is used.

System Requirements

Team Fortress 2 runs on Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. It requires at least a 1.7 GHz processor, a DirectX 8 level graphics card, internet connection, and 512 megabytes of RAM.
