Summary: Monkey Island games are still the best!! Build on the classics with updated graphics. Click and point with lots of problem solving... Just excellent....I ran on laptop that barely met minimum system requirements with no crashes, etc...
Summary: This was a gift for my boyfriend who loves the entire Monkey Island series. I'd never heard of it before, but over the past couple of weeks, by watching him play it, I find myself in love with it. While there are many wonderful call-backs to the previous games--all of which my boyfriend fondly pointed out to me--I feel one could just jump right in with this game as well.
Awesome and totally on par with the Monkey Island series

Summary: If you're a fan of Monkey Island and/or Sam and Max, I highly recommend this game. It's got some fun references to earlier Monkey Island games, but if you're not familiar with the MI series, you will still enjoy this game. The puzzles are clever but never too difficult (I resorted to a walkthrough maybe twice, and then was disappointed at myself for doing so!). It's funny, it's brilliant, and you shouldn't hesitate to get it.
Summary: Love the storyline, the comedy, almost everything! I am a big fan of SAM and MAX because of this game! Telltale Inc. Rocks! I want them to make more so i can play nonstop lol j/k but it would be awesome to play games that are actually funny and thought provoking!
Summary: I played the originals years ago as a kid. I didn't have internet back then so I had to get through all the puzzles without outside help and it was frustrating and crazy. And I loved every minute of it! These games were classics and so funny and witty that some of the jokes remain part of my 27 year old vocabulary. So I was basically clapping my hands with glee when I learned we were going to have a new adventure. Overall, I am not the least bit disappointed.
Summary: In the interest of full disclosure, I dove into this game ready to love it, as I grew up with the series and had waited a decade for a follow-up to the largely disappointing last title. However, what I got out of it was more than the scratching of a ten-year itch. Much, much more. As I played through all five chapters of Tales of Monkey Island, I was relieved to see that the series' humour was as wacky as ever, that all characters worth revisiting had either important...
Summary: This is a very user friendly LFA featuring a pirate story in which all characters are played by dogs. As the owner of nine dogs, I had to have this one. The colors are bright and cheery, the voice-overs are excellent, the dialogue is witty, and the adventure challenge is good. It's a cartoonish type of scenery, but very well done.
Summary: Monkey Island games have been a favorite of mine for years. I got this at a great price and am trying to savor it. I am in the middle of the first chapter or whatever. I am trying to make it last so I can't give a real review, but if you like this series, you'll like this as well.
Summary: (I'm going to say the bad stuff first. In Chapters 1 and 2, the game is laggy in the main town areas. Especially on the Wii. That's it.) I was a late-comer to the MI series as I started with Escape from Monkey Island, the fourth game in the series. I loved it so much that I couldn't wait until another game was made (at the time I couldn't bring myself to play in a 2D environment).
