Summary: Syndicate plays a little similarly to other FPS games, but it's got enough going for it to make a worthwhile play-through. I can't comment on the co-op as I have no interest in it. The setting and graphics in Syndicate are phenomenal. The story is kind of average but the priority in this game is certainly the atmosphere and action, which it does with excellence. 5/5 in those departments. The dubstep/electronic music is alright.
Summary: Disclaimer: I never played the original Syndicate. Also, this games requires EA's DRM, Origin. Take that as you may. If there is a regret I have with this reboot of the Syndicate franchise, is that we only got a glimpse of the world that Richard K. Morgan had a hand in developing. It is a shame because Mr. Morgan is a very good sci-fi author and I feel that unexpectedly the world (and not the story) of this reboot is one of its strongest aspects.
Summary: Would love to see this game in an open world style play instead of the tired old linear style play. Other than that, I liked the game! Unlike the previous reviewer I had no problems with Origin sign up or activation. However, I detest having to sign up (or Sign in) for anything in order to just play a hardcopy game I have bought. When are publishers gonna learn that we frigging HATE that? Best enjoyed on hardest difficultly.
Pros: Very Fast Paced Cool Weapons Reasonably long Good Graphics Good Story Sound is amazing on my home theater system!
Cons: Linear play style. Requires Origin Account -1 egg for the above
A modern game with a classic feel (Perfect combo!)

Summary: It's been a while since I have played a shooter that I can really call a "well crafted video game" and not a "point and click adventure". Syndicate, not like it's original version is now a shooter but is still awesome. Syndicate really dives into a world that we have seen and imagined in movies and other video games however was never really well crafted. The environment is awesome and feels atmospheric and the story keeps you going.
