Summary: The co op is quite hard with only 2 players. especially if you don't have any upgrades in the game. The game is very sci-fi, has some interesting features that you can use in the game, like a loose cover system and being able to heal your team mates well across the room but, the difficult has only normal, hard and expert. THEY FORCE YOU TO HAVE TEAMWORK IN THIS GAME. No patch will ever come out to fix this and sadly the developer is making a new game.

Summary: If you are having this problem its because the game is mistaking some piece of hardware in your system as a game controller. Some people have found it to be bluetooth adapters, 3rd party gaming pads, 3d connexion space mouse, etc. There is no option to force a keyboard mode in the game, so we are going to hardcode/force to the game to do so. Step 1) Download a HEX editor of your choice. I used HexEdit 4.0, it can be found easily with a web search.
Summary: First of All, I'm pretty biased towards this game since it caters to the type of character experience I'm into and think we need more of, you play as a complete badass, who has a incredible advantage over his enemies, it's never really a fair fight, which I like. Now, I feel as if this game was rushed, they could have used this game and made it 3x better than it is, but, it's EA, so whatcha gonna do.
Summary: Hello, If you're fan of the original, don't bother with this. This one is yet another shooter that has some aspects of Deus Ex for modding and such but isn't anywhere as good or as long or as much of a replay value. Some neat ides in there though it's not all bad ... watch yatzee/zero punctuation review. Story line is fine too, somewhat predictable and sometimes just wtf and unexplained, but hay leaves you to wonder.
Summary: The co-op is really great though I have only played with 2 players. It doesn't appear to scale at all for less then the 4 intended players but its not a huge barrier to the experience FPS player. The enemies do not always take the same path so on replays of co-op missions it may not always turn out as expected. Teamwork is a must which is one of the reasons I enjoy it. Did not finish the single player yet. Its ok but nothing earth shattering.
Summary: As others have mentioned before, the bloom is a bit much even turned down and the sensitivity is too much, but it can be adjusted. I never played the original game, but this one isn't all that bad compared to other fps games I've played. Very good graphics, decent story line and a few abilities that are useful. The game is a little shorter than I thought it would be (4 to 6 hours I'd say) but enjoyable none the less.
Excerpt: "Basically, Syndicate puts you in charge of a squad of Cyborgs - biomechanically modified soldiers with *serious* attitude problems. Your job is to "relieve" the different countires of the World from the tyrannical machinations of the Enemy Syndicates (Boooh!!). This is usually achieved by killing all the Enemies present in that region, but can be something as simple (Hah! Yeah...) as kidnapping someone, or assassinating a leader, or stealing ...
