Summary: I didnt have the issues playing this on a Windows 7 laptop that others seemed to. I haven't tried the expansion CD yet, but so far pretty smooth install and playing experience. I only wish I was able to play with other people.
Summary: I picked this up way back when it came out. I played it then and at that time, I did feel the graphics were not the best but nothing to be upset over. The gameplay took some getting used to. People who are a run and gun lover, will not like this. You have to plan out your entry, tactics (yours and your teams), etc. This is a thinking man's game. The less lethal you are, the more rewarded you are.
Summary: Very good in every way possible except in the area of difficulty. It's not impossible, but it does require much more stategical and tactical savvy than most games in order to even complete a level. A good challenge, but may be too hard for young teens/children or those new to first-person shooters.
Summary: EDIT: Saw another review detailing the "NEED" for a patch before playing on newer systems. There IS a patch but the game played fine on my Windows 7 64 bit system before I ever downloaded it. Still haven't seen any difference after patching. Anywho... The game cetainly has some age on it but it's still a great game. It's no run and gun shooter to be certain and is quite challenging. The graphics are acceptable to good depending on your anality about the issue.
Summary: You'll hear the phrase I chose for this review title a lot in this game. The partner AI is rather buggy - in fact, that's the only thing that keeps the game from being as fun as it could be. It is fun developing and implementing tactics, movement plans and combat strategies in this game, and the single-player campaign for both the core game and expansion is extremely well-designed in terms of the various locales you visit, but the partner AI drags it down a notch.

SWAT4 is good - Not as good as SWAT3 in some respects.

Summary: -INTRO / ETC- SWAT 4 is real good. It's got better graphics and better single player and AI. The Multi-Player is also improved with plenty of interesting maps and game modes. When the weapon, map and skin mod community gets going full time it'll be even better as you will be able to add on weapons, etc to the current ones. -DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SWAT 3 & 4 / ETC- SWAT 3 was a little more tactical however. There are also a couple useful SWAT3 features missing in #4.
Summary: This is the second game(besides Flight Simulator 2004) I have tried to play that requires a looooot of PC requirements: Im running a 1.8A Ghz PIV, 256 RDRAM PC800,with a 7600 RPM HD, a 256MB GeForceFX5700VE and it takes around 5 minutes to LOAD every mission!!! The graphics are OK, maybe very good, but not enough to take 5 Mins loading!!! Even San Andreas and Flight Simulator 2004 was much faster loading!
