Summary: One of the best RTS games of all time. Stronghold offers a somewhat complex gameplay experience as resource gathering and processing is done in greater detail than in most of the other RTS games. Never have I played an RTS where I've had more fun developing my economy. The only negative thing I can really say is the lack of being able to play against an AI opponent like in the expansion Stronghold: Crusader.
Summary: My old favorite spend every day playing multiplayer at home after school good memories. glad they bring back these great games Games is hard and challenging mission better than crusader, but multiplayer went back a bit.
Summary: Legendary game with amazing detailed processes. This is what really deserves to be called economic development in RTS. Resource gathering/food production details are incomparable. Old RTS that has deserved its place in hall of fame.
Summary: I just can't wrap my head around some people giving this game such a low score. The musics are really epic and fit the tone of the game really nicely. The battles get huge towards the end of the campaign. One of my favorite RTSs of all time.
Summary: I love Stronghold. Stronghold is fun, but Stronghold Crusader is my favorite. Building is fun. You get better buildings than Stronghold Crusader. But you get better guys and more enemies and allies.
Summary: Building castles is a great amount of fun. Having them torn down by your enemy is not so fun. This game is awsome. set during mid evel times there is all aspects of a castle life in them days. You are set off to build a keep to begin with. as you progress through this game your tasks will increase to defending your castle as well as feeding your population in order to keep your castle gears moving.
Summary: Stronghold is a unique cross between city builders such as Caesar III or Sim City and a RTS in the tradition of Command & Conquer and Age of Empires. Set in medieval Europe, you'll establish settlements, build and manage castles and engage in siege warfare. The game incorporates much more building and "community managing" than a traditional RTS, yet allows for a more intense combat experience than city builders have featured in the past.
