I like the price now

Summary: This game is fun for the Crusader part of it. It contain Stronghold Crusader and Stronghold Crusader Extreme. The Extreme is too cheap for me. It has units spawn and less maps. I bought this game 2 years ago for 40 dollars and now it is 1.40, so I'm kind of mad about that.
Superb old school 2D game, but caveat: compatibility issue

Summary: Excellent 'legacy' game (loosely in the original Total Annihilation/Command and Conquer mould but set in the middle ages). Hint for the extreme version: trebuchets to kill the mercenary outposts, and a macemen rush if too far away.
Summary: I think the first version of this came out in about 2001 and now we have the "extreme" version. New campaign with the extreme levels added on. I got this as a gift for my nethew who was getting a computer for christmas.
Summary: its been a while since i checked for any new games here so was pleasantly surprised. a tough game - hey - that's why they called it extreme you numpties!! i thoroughly enjoyed it. key to success is finding the money making resource in the level and from the off sending/sacrificing a squad of macemen...
Summary: I still remember being hooked, the minute I started playing the "original" Stronghold game. The idea of placing army on the walls was beyond my wildest dreams back in the late 90s. Then came the Crusader with all the new maps and units. Then came the Crusader Extreme.
