OK Storyline - Cruddy Graphics & VERY Mature Content
13 December 2012
Summary: The storyline is OK - but not the best storyline I've ever seen. I feel like the CSI games are more interesting than this. The graphics stink compared to other games on the market. The puzzles are challenging - which was probably the best part of the game.
Summary: Still Life comes off as an eye spy detective game with several puzzle elements thrown into the mix. The 800x600 maximum resolution is disappointing. A game of this caliber with a 2005 release date on a PC platform deserves higher end graphical support.
Summary: Game is fine. But Saving, Game Loading, etc is excruitiatingly SLOW and cumbersome. Given how many times you need to save, because you WILL die...it drove me crazy how long it took to save and return to the game.
Summary: Other reviewers have pretty well covered all I would have to say, except one point, which appears in this game and in many games today. All the main protagonists are female. I have no real hassle with this, but do only females become FBI agents?
Summary: Its fun, its bloody, and sometimes thrilling. Is it bloody thrilling? Well, no. Still Life is a great game to play while waiting for something more epic to be produced. I liked the challenge of the past and present storylines that intertwined throughout this adventure.
Summary: While venturing off into psycopathland, still life does provide a few intruiging concepts, peering into the mind of a madman, but alltogether comes accross as just another adventure game, a sad reality, when no advenutre game should ever be called "just another advenuter game".
Summary: Still Life is a cool adventure game with great atmosphere and exciting story. Unfortunately, it also drags quite a bit since e.g. you cannot jump to certain points, you always have to walk to your car or take the elevator and have to endure the scenes over and over again without being able to skip...

Summary: Still Life is a game that has great potential, but is ultimately somewhat lacking because of two fundamental flaws: 1) Some of the puzzles can be solved only through trial-and-error, and 2) The player doesn't get to participate in solving the murders! The primary upside of the game is its eye-candy.
