Summary: Still Life is a cool adventure game with great atmosphere and exciting story. Unfortunately, it also drags quite a bit since e.g. you cannot jump to certain points, you always have to walk to your car or take the elevator and have to endure the scenes over and over again without being able to skip it. Also, the background is too still for my taste, nothing really moves and there's not much to look at despite of things you need to do or handle.
Summary: I tried to give this game a go after I read the story. Found that a bit exciting and interesting. A good classic thriller. Well, to begin with, the game does a fairly good job keeping that mysterious atmosphere. I like the sometimes sarcastic comments too. Still Life is rather enjoyable but short game for those who like a classic adventure game. I also liked the voice acting. The point & click nature of the game was quite easy to get on with after the first 5-10 minutes.
Summary: "Still Life" has some good elements, some bad elements, and some very pretty artwork! The Good: The game has a great story, a must for any mystery/adventure game, and some good dialogue. You will find yourself intrigued by the story, as other reviewers have noted, impressed by the scenic designs (more below), and interested in the characters. The game was not buggy. I had no trouble with anything I tried to do, and no patches needed to be downloaded or anything.

Summary: Still Life is a game that has great potential, but is ultimately somewhat lacking because of two fundamental flaws: 1) Some of the puzzles can be solved only through trial-and-error, and 2) The player doesn't get to participate in solving the murders! The primary upside of the game is its eye-candy. The pre-rendered settings are excellent. There is a very "Nocturne" feel to the settings, especially in Prague. The cutscenes are very well done as well.
