I've played this game before and really liked it, it sucks that I bought it twice ...

lori, Amazon

  • Summary: The system ordered me two and I didn't notice---and I can't play it on anything. It's not compatible with my exbox and won't download completely onto my pc. I've played this game before and really liked it, it sucks that I bought it twice and played it again-never.

  • Summary: It might work reasonably well as an interactive movie/story (there is no real decision-making or choices in the game), but in that case, the developers should have made the game move along a LOT faster.

This game blows chunks. Boring, boring chunks.

tspeecestudios, Amazon

  • Summary: If you liked "Heavy Rain", you'll like this. However, if you'd like for your games to have a faster pace than 'the English Patient', you'll want to skip this title in favor of something more exciting, like "Parking Simulator 4".

  • Summary: First off, I must impress upon you how amazingly lazy I am. You probably think you've experienced sloth, but I guarantee you that the minor levels of laziness that you have observed are nothing compared to the sheer magnitude of my lethargy.

  • Summary: Miserable. I fail to see how anyone who hasn't been living under a rock - and possibly not played any other video game for the past ten years - could like this garbage. It seems like the prevailing attitude in the gaming community is that because someone bothers to publish an adventure game, it gets...

HansB, Metacritic
23 August 2009
  • Summary: Dated graphics, highly repetitive locations (or should I say location), boring puzzles, bad voice acting...this game is an unworthy follow-up to the fantastic Still Life. In fact, it has almost nothing to do with the events in that game and feels like it has more to do with the "Saw" movies than...

Really disappointing.

Thaylie, Amazon
9 April 2007
  • Summary: This game was extremely disappointing for me.The profanity is unnecessary and trite-a forced use of the F-bomb that fits neither the dialogue nor the atmosphere. The lack of an ending:this game ended so fast I think I have whiplash.I'm pretty sure it ended because I saw the credits roll.Only the...

Worth it for the Art

Leila C. Merosands, Amazon
4 September 2006
  • Summary: I love it even though I've usually played action games, and really don't like puzzles (lots of em - but you can use a walkthrough on tough ones, copy the "solution", no sweat). Now Still Life is one of my top favs, with HL2 and Doom3, because of the game art (not the in-game "art", that's pretty...

Be Careful! StarForce protection installs on your system!

Old Rooster, Amazon
18 April 2006
  • Summary: Still Life has a StarForce copy protection scheme which completely spoiled the experience for me. It installs in a separate folder from the game, and caused havoc with my very ordinary system. Five different programs (games and demos) would not run and load.
