Summary: Gave this one star because I could not play it. Caveat Emptor! This game contains Star force Protection, which when loaded on to your computer may create havoc, particularly if you are running Windows 7.
Summary: It might work reasonably well as an interactive movie/story (there is no real decision-making or choices in the game), but in that case, the developers should have made the game move along a LOT faster.
Summary: I was very excited to receive this game after playing it a ton during my childhood. Unfortunately, older computer games will not run on Windows 7, even in compatibility mode. If you don't have windows XP, 2000 or 98 don't buy it. It installed fine, then when opening gave me an error message.
Summary: Still Life is a cool adventure game with great atmosphere and exciting story. Unfortunately, it also drags quite a bit since e.g. you cannot jump to certain points, you always have to walk to your car or take the elevator and have to endure the scenes over and over again without being able to skip...
Summary: Still Life comes off as an eye spy detective game with several puzzle elements thrown into the mix. The 800x600 maximum resolution is disappointing. A game of this caliber with a 2005 release date on a PC platform deserves higher end graphical support.
Summary: Thanks to the folks at adventuregamers.com forum, I learned that it wasn't just my computer freezing up with the "protection system" (Starforce) that installs along with Still Life. It is no good for Windows later than 2000.
