Summary: Still Life is what it is, an old style point and click game with some nice pre-rendered visuals. Yes, it is very linear (remember when all games were linear, and that was ok?) and yes there are some animation problems, but its not a bad diversion for the $20 price. There are some annoyances--yes, the cookies--and some illogical moments.
Summary: An amazing adventure game, superb plot great graphics and interesting puzzles, as this was never advertised as an RPG I don't particulary know what some of the other reviews are complaining about, and the bloke who writes reviews for PC Format should be fired posthaste.
Summary: Best adventure game ever! For those who doesn't have a sense of adventure and thrill(excitement) maybe it IS better you go and watch the paint dry. or for anyone who has no patience or hates reading you go elsewhere... for adventure lovers or just anyone who wants a great story, and excellent 3D graphics(Pre-rendered) this is your game!
Summary: Although I think the graphics are nice, and the story is interesting, this game is more like reading a book or watching a film, there is absolutely no choice in anything you do. I like adventure games, and I don't think this game qualifies!
Summary: Heads up, everybody...this is NOT an RPG; it's a point-and-click adventure game. And it's time to be honest about how little the emperor is wearing at the moment...this game is HORRIBLE. It's completely misrepresented in reviews and on its packaging: this is NOT a detective game. When I bought it, I was imagining something like CSI or the earlier game Missing, where you use crime scene clues to decipher puzzles and advance the storytelling.
