Review: Stealth Inc. is an inviting entry in an often daunting genre

GameZone
19 January 2013
  • Excerpt: Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark is one of those games that does very little wrong, but it hardly excels at any of the things that it does right. That's not a bad thing, though. This is, for all intents and purposes, a rewarding little puzzle-platformer that I urge you to check out. That said, you should go into it knowing that you're probably not going to be swept off your feet, as its puzzle and platforming elements aren't exactly revolutionary as much as they are just...

Stealth Bastard Deluxe Review (PC)

Softpedia
19 January 2013
  • Excerpt: Players inhabit a series of interchangeable clones who need to explore a complex facility that is fairly sentient and determined to stop them via any possible means, ranging from walls that close it to laser beams that turn the squishy human bastards into a kind of meat paste. The deaths are brutal and can only be avoided by paying attention to light and shadows, watching the way the various levels are built and how elements like cameras, sensors and robots interact with...
  • Pros: + Mix of platforming and puzzle game, + Art style, + Soundtrack
  • Cons: - Some very difficult sections, - Graphical quality

Stealth Bastard Deluxe Review

VideoGamer.com
13 January 2013
  • Excerpt: This year has seen a bit of a stealth renaissance, with games like Dishonored and Mark of the Ninja showing how much fun can be had from staying unseen. Stealth Bastard Deluxe, a newfangled version of a cult freeware prototype, arrives as a late-year addition to that roster. It also has the tagline of Tactical Espionage Arsehole, and I'd imagine that fact alone has guaranteed it at least a few sales.

  • Conclusion: This is not a game that likes you much. You’ll like it though, even when it goes out of its way to live up to its name.

Stealth Bastard Deluxe

Ready Up
10 December 2012
  • Summary: Stealth Bastard is a good game, but it feels like it's missing something. The puzzles are challenging and well made but they lack any feeling of reward upon figuring them out, and even those who relish getting their arses handed to them in games will get tired of it quickly.

Expert Review

Recenze-her.cz
27 October 2013

Test : Stealth Inc. (PSV)

Gamekult.com
26 December 2012
