Snackbar Games
16 January 2013
  • Excerpt: The difficulty curve is a bit steep, but that’s a hard line to walk. Make your puzzle game too easy, and everybody blows through it in a day. Make it too hard, and 80% of your player base never finishes the game.
  • Pros: Great aesthetic, great soundtrack, instant retry on failure
  • Cons: Gets difficult faster than many players will enjoy

Stealth Bastard Deluxe

Ready Up
10 December 2012
  • Summary: Stealth Bastard is a good game, but it feels like it's missing something. The puzzles are challenging and well made but they lack any feeling of reward upon figuring them out, and even those who relish getting their arses handed to them in games will get tired of it quickly.

Stealth Bastard Deluxe review

Eurogamer
6 December 2012
