SWTOR: The Expectation.

Summary: I recently saw where Best Buy is now selling CEs of SWTOR, if you can find them, for as little as $19.99 in stores. I'm still ok with having paid $150.00 for the pre-order though as I've managed to enjoy the game myself. If the game falls short it's in that the Devs, just in my opinion, didn't really have a grasp of who their long term customers would be. They tried to make this Star WoW basically and gave it KotORs cinematic storytelling. Flat out, that's what it is.
Summary: When this came in the mail I was so excited. It came in a nice flashy Star Wars box that was a shame to throw away but what am I going to do with it. Unfortunately, the box was the coolest thing about it.
Promising, but yet immature. Customer policy sometime hard to understand.

Summary: Leveling up a character is a pleasure, no repetitive kill-tasks like the ones in DAoC for example. Craft system is immature but will probably improve with time. There is a lack of high-level content, but remember this is a new game which will grow up. I'm happy after 8 weeks of play, this is all I can say now. For the bad part: the customer policy. I noticed two things I really disliked : - you have to know that buying the game will NOT be enough to play.
Not as bad as 1 star, not as good as 5 star reviews

Summary: First off, this is a P2P (pay to play) MMO. MMOs in the past, when they first came out, required you to group up with others in order to get anything done. Leveling to max level took mulitple months, not weeks or days. Todays MMOs cater a lot more to those that enjoy single player games that have online content, think Modern Warfare. This game has a very good story arch to it, much like the old Knights of the Old Republic and games like Mass Effect today.
Summary: Having been an MMO nerd since the late 90s, I was just expecting more from this product. As with most reviews I've seen online there are some excellent features to the game, Vocalized story lines, AoE looting, excellent graphics and character animations, and customizable gear. (use of inserted items to make the gear better) However some of the things that have caused me not to redeem my CE code yet are the following.
