Star Wars: The Old Republic

Excerpt: Like most gamers my age, I like a few predictable things. Energy drinks (though I'm trying to scale back -- honest), The Simpsons , and of course -- Star Wars . Hell, whenever anyone asks me about my political or religious affiliation, I always answer that I'm simply a Han Soloist. I've always been disappointed though that my love for Lucas' epic has never been fully translated into my other love of video games. Enter Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Conclusion: So yes, I am quite happy with my experience with Star Wars: The Old Republic. In fact, I was more than a little irritated that I had to take time away from playing the game in order to write about the game. However, if my recommendation helps convince some fence sitters to purchase the game and experience it for themselves it is more than worth it.
Pros: Good graphics, great sound, fully voiced missions, strong focus on character story allows single-player RPG experience in an MMO environment, relatively solid launch, Star Wars and MMOG fans should be pleased;
Cons: Space missions could be better, crafting system needs more items for lower levels, galactic market interface needs some work, various bugs.
Conclusion: The Short Version: If you can't (or won't) connect your Xbox 360 to the internet, PopCap Hits Volume 1 finally gives you the opportunity to try out some of their fantastic casual titans. However, most consumers will be arguably better off downloading Peggle and Bejeweled 2 from Xbox Live. Ultimately there isn't enough content to justify this cheap and lazy port job.
Pros: Peggle is amazing, Bejeweled 2 is amazing, The other two games are also pretty good
Cons: AstroPop doesn't support 60Hz, Clunky bare-bones interface, Lazy XBLA ports with nothing to attract existing fans
