Summary: I absolutely enjoyed playing this game for the two months I had it . . . that's when Windows 7 came along and cost me the ability to play the majority of the games I had in my library. I really hate Microsoft!
Summary: This was an awesome game that was a mix between a first person shooter and the Rainbow Six series. It was very awesome to hear the voice of Jango Fett issuing orders to an elite group of commandos. The wise-cracks the commandos made were hilarious. "Let' re-organize some architecture Deltas!" (i.e. let's blow some stuff up). The graphics were incredible and the use of characters from Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith was a nice touch too.
Summary: I bought a used copy of this as a gift for my little brother, and it worked just fine. Not bad for $5! As for the game itself, I had played through it myself about a year earlier and found it enjoyable. To be honest, it offers little in the way of innovative gameplay and is almost completely lacking in characters and plot (how much can you care about unnamed, masked comrades?). However, it was fun to play and even challenging at some parts.
Good Old Fashioned Blaster Battles - Special Ops in the Future

Summary: Republic Commando is a first person shooter where you play the leader of a unit of elite clone soldiers. Basically non-stop action. The designers made an effort to make the squad AI act like special ops solders with door breaches and use of cover. The team controls and squad AI are better than older versions of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Call of Duty: Game of the Year Edition . The graphics are a little dated, but it is still good enough to keep it fun.
Summary: I really like this game. However it seemed a little short for me. You can beat this in a day. Its really fun and the missions can be intense. However, I do feel that the weapons feel a little weak when attacking the enemy.
Summary: Bought this for my kid as he is NUTS over the Star Wars Battlefront games and thought this one would be a nice buy to add to his collection. Couldn't get the game to run right away (I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium). Read on a message board that others had similar problems until they switched-off bumpmapping. Once I made this adjustment under the Options/Video, the game ran with no problems.
Summary: I think this game has everything to offer. The graphics and sound quality are top notch. The game also has great music. I liked the fact that the game had extra content. On that note I would have liked to have known that the game was a DVD-ROM. I wish the game had more dialogue added to it, ecspecially for the player. This game has just the right amount of action. I wish the game had included a few jedi.
Well designed, fairly high-end, squad based shooter

Summary: I'm not a big fan of Star Wars and I'm only lukewarm to squad based shooters, but this game did a nice job of making the squad a useful addition with a short learning curve on giving them directions. They can revive you if you're incapacitated and you can revive them to keep up team strength.
