Summary: I really didn't think i would like this game very much, but it is star wars so i thought i should at least give it a shot. I am happy to be wrong. Cool idea with "blackop" clone troopers. Squad based combat is pretty good to. Moderate difficulty as well. Call me impressed.
Simple tactical brilliance against a paper doll army.

Summary: Years ago, I discovered the existence of this game from a promo on the Clone Wars 2-D series DVD. From there, I saw a few gameplay videos and fell in love with the fluidity of commanding your squad along with the difference in character personalities among your four-man army-slaying brotherhood. Now that I have the game, I can honestly state that the squad commands are everything I imagined they would be and even more.
Summary: I absolutely enjoyed playing this game for the two months I had it . . . that's when Windows 7 came along and cost me the ability to play the majority of the games I had in my library. I really hate Microsoft!
Summary: I bought a used copy of this as a gift for my little brother, and it worked just fine. Not bad for $5! As for the game itself, I had played through it myself about a year earlier and found it enjoyable. To be honest, it offers little in the way of innovative gameplay and is almost completely lacking in characters and plot (how much can you care about unnamed, masked comrades?). However, it was fun to play and even challenging at some parts.

Summary: Republic Commando is a first person shooter where you play the leader of a unit of elite clone soldiers. Basically non-stop action. The designers made an effort to make the squad AI act like special ops solders with door breaches and use of cover. The team controls and squad AI are better than older versions of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Call of Duty: Game of the Year Edition . The graphics are a little dated, but it is still good enough to keep it fun.
Summary: I really like this game. However it seemed a little short for me. You can beat this in a day. Its really fun and the missions can be intense. However, I do feel that the weapons feel a little weak when attacking the enemy.
Summary: Bought this for my kid as he is NUTS over the Star Wars Battlefront games and thought this one would be a nice buy to add to his collection. Couldn't get the game to run right away (I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium). Read on a message board that others had similar problems until they switched-off bumpmapping. Once I made this adjustment under the Options/Video, the game ran with no problems.
