Summary: This is an ok game. The squad is annoying at times but great to have at others. I got this because of the price and to fill out my Star Wars(Lucasarts really) game collection. No 1920x1080 option is a downer.
Summary: My 7 year old son who is a Star Wars fan found out about this game, and asked me to find it. None of the stores I check had it, but I found it easily on ebay. The game does not have the best graphics, but he says it is fun and is satisified.
Summary: The game was really fun. The fast pace of the game made for an exciting ride. However, the game was also really short, and ended abruptly. It seemed like I was just getting the feel for the game, and then it was over. The game play was fluid, and the story-line was decent. I liked the feel of playing as part of a squad, rather than alone. Overall a good game, but would have been a lot better had it been longer.
Summary: I own this game & have finished it on all difficulty levels. The story line is good & stays true to it's Star Wars universe roots. I found it to be a bit glitchy & the game froze on me more than once. Overall it's fun & if your a Star Wars fan refreshingly familiar. If you see it this game in your local baragin bin I would recommend buying it.
Summary: I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, though I enjoy the franchise. I picked up a copy of Republic Commando at the suggestion of a friend and gave it a whirl. It didn't blow me away, but it was still a lot of fun! Not unlike the movies on which the license is based, this game plunders design ideas from many games in the genre. However, it plunders well, integrating these concepts into a relatively tight game that controls smoothly and is fun to play.
