Decent sequel which does a few things better than the predecessor

Summary: This game is a mixed bag. I enjoyed the game but it lacks the incredible story and star wars music that the first one had. However, the annoying level cap that the first one had is exceptionally higher than the original. Obsidian made this one and Bioware made the first.
Summary: Cheaters, be warned: adjusting your characters' light/dark alignment to the max either way with a cheat can send your party members' alignments to the max in the opposite, making it rather difficult for you to complete objectives which require loyalty from the other characters.
Pros: It's the kind of game that's just entertaining and easy enough to get me addicted to finishing it in just a couple of days.
Cons: It's clearly unfinished. Combat is turn-based, so attacks are just clicked into a queue. Dialog is tedious, but you have to go through with it to accomplish many objectives. Doesn't have a whole lot of replay value even if you want to try a different alignment, gender, or class.
Summary: I hear there's an independent group that's trying to restore the unfinished parts of the game. I'd like to see that myself. But I am tremendously disappointed in Lucasarts: even if they rushed the product, they still should have done more to fix the problems with the game, instead of waiting for an...
Pros: This game starts out phenomenally. The creepy atmosphere, the feeling of suspense while you try to gather your characters and find some way of escape (and maybe some clothes). There were lots of great features, like the expanded lightsaber construction, and some decent character development.
Cons: The ending sucked. From what I have gathered, Lucasarts rushed the production, leaving the last quarter of the game unfinished. What a huge freaking disappointment! After such a great adventure, only to have it end in such disarray!
Summary: Don't overlook this game just because of its problems. It's good, it's cheap, and there is still a very active mod/addon community. In fact there is a group of people currently working to complete the game.
Pros: Overall the game is good. It's comparable to KoTOR 1 but it's much darker and more introspective...it isn't player vs. the world, it's player vs. his past. The support characters are more fleshed out and chatty, and choices made during conversations affect their reactions to both the player and t...
Cons: KoTOR II is most definitely incomplete. There were several game stopping bugs (most have been patched now) and many unfinished plot lines. From what I've read there's even a whole planet missing, not to mention 90% of the ending. The graphics engine, although outdated, still manages to tax my x80...
Summary: (... basically my review for KOTOR) No bugs/game patched ... Windows XP/SP2 ... not one crash This game has the feel of: "being part of a good movie". The UI(... user interface) is the best I've seen.
