Excerpt: "Star Wars Empire at War is a real time strategy game set in the Star Wars universe. The units are all Star Wars but you do not need to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy this game or know anything about Star Wars. Story The game takes place between episode III and episode IV and follows the battle up to the eventually potential destruction of the Death Star, depending on the options you had chosen through the game. You can play as either the Rebel ...
Excerpt: "Star Wars - Empire At War (for the PC) If like me, the Star Wars exp erience wasn't quite enough by experiencing it through the medium of film. You want to lay your hands on all the material you can in order to experience what the Star wars galaxy is all about. This game gives you a peek of that galaxy. It offers the player 3 game playing options, as well as multi player: Campaign, Galactic Conquest (which is again broken down into sub campaigns ...
Pros: Great game for the Stars Wars fan .
Cons: A good graphics card is needed to fully enjoy the experience
Conclusion: this game has kept me occupied very nicely. the two campaigns are fairly conventional, and skirmish is just that, but who hasnt wanted to command their own fleet of star destroyers or x-wings. highly recomended.
Conclusion: Forces of Corruption is a good game but you will need a very good computer to play it at its best. The game graphics are great and the gameplay is very addictive. You will enjoy the new vehicles in the game and the special abilities of the characters in the game.
Conclusion: Forces of Corruption is an absolutely brilliant addition to Empire at War. I would say corrupting planets has to be one of the coolest aspects of the game. Instead of conquering a world players can now setup a criminal organization and chew the planet up from the inside out. Its awesome!
Conclusion: There are more vessels, planets, characters and factions. In terms of an expansion it's great. Putting the Super Star Destroyer of Death Star into your battles is awesome... However (you knew that was coming) the Corruption campaign was not particularly inspiring. It could have done with further Rebel vs Imperial and visa versa Campaigns and stories to take it up to five stars. When all is said and done, the combat is as enduring as its predecessor.
Fantastic for space play, but ground tactics are a let down.

Conclusion: I have nothing but praise for this games space battles. Fast paced, or slow if ud prefer, space gamplay in the campaign while rarly tedious, can be a bit repetative. The space battle system is worthy of applause. However when playing down on the ground, some hero units are left obsolete by more up market ordinary units, and the computer can just walk all over you should it feel like it.
Tra queste certamente me ...
