Trouble With the Disk
24 September 2014
Summary: I installed the game completely but some file was corrupted. I cannot uninstall the game because of a bug and the disk was only good for one installation. I tried re-installing it on another computer and it wouldn't work. The problem is with the Forces of Corruption Expansion, the original Empire at War works fine.
a bad addition to a already fun but weighted down by the planetary battles game

Summary: yes I did this game one starter although the first game wasn't perfect the space battles did look good but the area of battle was very small compared to the ship size each mission seemed to be directed to a certain point but it was still more fun then this edition to the game I fell they fell flat on their face with this one be straightforwardness of the last game by just adding a another faction just became from what seemed would be something a little bit more simple...
Summary: The game is fantastic if you ever get past the copy protection. I am using Vista x64 and I have to spend over 45 minutes trying to get the game started as SecuROM keeps saying unable to find original disk. Eventually it finds it and I can get in. SecuROM support is horrible and they send you in circles. They are located in Germany (for obvious reasons) and will only answer to emails.
Summary: I was disapointed in the game. I played it twice and have no further interest in it. I found it really unbalanced and easy to beat. The tactical maps were not large enough and the iconic character missions did not add any value. Production and research was way too limited and simple. All in All I'd rather pull out my old copy of Star Wars Rebellion any day.
Conclusion: if u get this game as a gold or single pack for forces of corruption dont it wont work on Windows 7. The first game will, but NOT the secound game. And yes i will get boring after a days play.
