This is going to make me sound like a snob, but there's no getting around it, Empire At War is a casual gamer's game. Fans of the genre will find some interesting management features kludged into a simplistic and problematic RTS system. Before I start my review, I have to get one thing out of the way: one of the new units you can purchase in Forces of Corruption is called an Ewok Handler. What does he do? this is a star wars rts that puts you in the hands of controlling the fate of the galactic civil war. no clones here, only TIEs and X-Wings. This game is basically Command and Conquer combined with Battlefront 2. Land battles can take hours and are uninteresting, but the space battles are epic and explosive, just like the movies.
