What more could a gamer ask for! A Star Wars theme combined with a (finally) RTS. I had played the demo and was absolutely tantalized about what thefull version would be like. I must admit, I was wholeheartedly pleasedwith what I found in the full version. I usually save this for the endof my reviews, but this game is worth penny I spent on it! Star Wars: Empire At War gives you the option to play as either theRebellion or the Empire. A majority of my time playing SW:... Read more

This is going to make me sound like a snob, but there's no getting around it, Empire At War is a casual gamer's game. Fans of the genre will find some interesting management features kludged into a simplistic and problematic RTS system. But the game IS fun, looks good, sounds great, and is undeniably the best Star Wars RTS ever made. If you're still a Star Wars fan after the unforgivably ludicrous travesty that was Episode III, then you will love this game and it could... Read more

The Star Wars franchise has seen its ups and downs in terms of quality in the game industry over the years. While there have been a select few gems, most of the games have been either mediocre (Revenge of the Sith) or just plain awful (Force Commander). Considering LucasArts has made many excellent games in the past, it’s often shocking to see so many duds from its star franchise. Things have begun to turn around though with the recent releases of Star Wars Battlefront... Read more

Before I start my review, I have to get one thing out of the way: one of the new units you can purchase in Forces of Corruption is called an Ewok Handler. What does he do? He actually straps a bomb onto the back of an Ewok and sends him running towards the enemy! Trust me, seeing those cute little furballs get blown to smithereens never gets old. Good times. Read more

this is a star wars rts that puts you in the hands of controlling the fate of the galactic civil war. no clones here, only TIEs and X-Wings. This game is basically Command and Conquer combined with Battlefront 2. Land battles can take hours and are uninteresting, but the space battles are epic and explosive, just like the movies. What you see on the front box cover is not what you get in the game. you basically land a small battalion of stormtroopers and speeder-bikes on... Read more
