Cons: ... for some reason I am not able to play the Forces of Corruption expansion. There are several threads on the developer's forums with people in the same boat. I recommend you get your Star Wars fix elsewhere.
Summary: Having bought the 2 Battlefront games this was a huge let-down and I would strongly advise against buying this game. I had played the Dawn of War series and was looking for something similar in the SW genre but this is the dullest thing I have seen in ages.
cant believe this has got good reviews - based on looks only

Summary: this game does not deserve a good rating, it is got one its simply because of its incredible cinematic looks .... other that that the game play is terrible and for a strategy game it lacks any signficant stratigic involement !!!
Summary: In this case an old Jedi mind trick shouldn't be needed to stop you buying this game - this really isn't a game you should be looking for! Very disappointing - Boring battles, no strategy and repetitive. I played the first part of the Empire campaign and haven't played the game since.
Summary: Time is short in the Star Wars universe these days, and space has never been smaller than in "Empire at war". I'm a strategy gamer, and though I knew "Empire at war" has real-time battles, I was prepared to live with that, as the galactic mode is what made me buy this game.
this is not the game you are looking for - move along ...

Summary: what can i say, im another fan who has played star wars supremacy / rebellion for years. I was hoping EAW would be a worthy sequeal and my word was i disappointed. Cinematic looks are great but the game play is aweful. I do believe there is supposed to be an element of strategy - i couldnt find it.
