Good game for its' time that hasn't aged as well as it could have

Summary: Let me start off by saying I love this game, and that nothing will really change this. However, to the uninitiated gamer, this game just isn't a great game to go out and buy, especially with the superior sequel that has every map (as far as I know; some of them were heavily altered, but you can...
Summary: At 15 dollars, Star Wars Battlefront is well worth the price. Despite the 3-star rating, I am hooked on this game, but it has some shortcomings. 1) The computer AI is fairly bad. Highly scripted.
Summary: Overall, this game is a lot of fun (for a First-person-shooter) and I found myself playing it a lot, but it is not without its flaws. Some are simple graphics glitches (missing shots, paper walls, etc) but some of the others are more frustrating, primarily the horrible, horrible AI and the fact that...
Summary: Want to pilot your own Landspeeder or AT-AT or blast away from your very own Tie-Fighter or X-Wing? Want to fight dozens of enemy troops, defending your command post, or go on the offensive with Jedis like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Mace Windu? No problem.
Summary: I must agree with many of the other low score reviews of this game. I have 2 very high end computers and 3 medium end computers. One high end is running the ATI X800 XT graphics card, the other running the NVIDIA 6800 Ultra. My medium end computers ran this game quite well too.
Summary: I was very excited to order this game for the PC. I love BF 1942/BF Vietnam. SW Battlefront is supposed to use the same engine. The game really needs some work. LucasArts has always managed to take a great idea and mess it up somehow. This title is no exception.
Summary: Star Wars Battlefront is really good. You get to play as a soldier in about every Star Wars army up to Episode 2. The vehicles are awesome, especially the Y wings and if you and a computer controlled character are in the ship at the same time the computer controlled character can control a gun that...
Summary: This game is remarkably similar to its sequel (the aptly named Battlefront II). It lacks the ability to play as Jedi, but more-or-less makes up for it with the ability to fly space-ships in ground levels. The 'classes' of troops are slightly different, with only one unique unit for each side.
Summary: Das Spiel funktioniert so wie erhofft. Es ist leider NICHT auf deutsch. Wem das stört am besten nicht kaufen. Ansonsten ist das Spiel wie gewohnt Hammer zu spielen. Star Wars Battlefront halt.
