Summary: I ordered this for my son's birthday that was 6 weeks away. When he opened the package, there was a scratch on the disk. It would start to load and then quit. I attempted to load on another machine and had the same issue.
Summary: Received this DVD hoping that my kids would like it. Once we inserted the DVD into the computer we learned that you couldn't open it unless you downloaded the manual by going to the Start button on your computer. We did this and nothing happened. I am now out my money because we can't play the game! Why don't they tell you things like this when you go to purchase a PC DVD game? instead of just saying its for Windows XP!
Summary: Even on Lucas Arts' site, this is misrepresented as having space flight combat - e.g., as though it were joystick controlled. It's all strategy and mouse control - it is NOT similar to the old W95 shoot 'em up joystick games.
I've been disappointed before but this was amazing

Summary: I didn't want to like this game, I wanted to love it. Granted, having such high hopes even before I installed Star Wars Battlefront probably set me up for failure by believing that maybe, just maybe it could have lived up to the hype and all of the possibilities that hardcore gamers/Star Wars fans had been pondering for months now, but in all honesty this was an abysmal failure even if you had lower than average expectations. The visuals are less than sharp.
